Kawasaki quietly updated the Ridge for 2026. Are there any new features for 2026 that make you want to upgrade?

Looks like some considerable updates. It's great to see Kawasaki respond to the customer and start fixing the items that need work. We will be purchasing a Ridge this year. We like the quad, but it’s mostly my wife and I, and we need to get into a really tight spot, so most likely go with the 2 seater. I just need to find a way to get all our gear into the truck bed. Before we ever take it off the dealer floor, we are changing out the A-Arm bushings, adding Elka Stage 4 shocks, new rims and tires, and an AA clutch and cover. I hear they have updated the clutch, but I’m sure it's nothing like an AA clutch. I will be curious to hear from anyone if the new clutch is better. We’re hoping the soundproofing is much better.

I like your style! Welcome to the forum!

Has anyone else encountered the high seat, we have a 2022 Teryx now and thinking about buying the Ridge Limited, we share the driving most of the time, so when we went looking at the 2025's i got in and my feet barley hit the floor and there was no way i could drive, the dealer said thats all the seat can move forward.....i looked at him and said you got to be kidding me, and he said no, my husband 5'8 and he even had trouble! so guess that downed us right off not buying one. and why dont they get a windshield that will fold down or up, and not have such a hugh windshield with one wiper that doesnt get the sides , we love the fresh air! dont want to run the air conditioner. our Teryx with 14,500 miles now, is really comfortable with a rag top that windows zip down and fold back and the Tusk windshield folds down for all the mountain air we can get! hate to give the Kawasaki brand up, but, guess will be looking around, were retired and ride all over Montana, we like to up-grade to an enclosed machine, let our wonderful Teryx retire, this machine in magnificent!

The windshield is the only reason I didn't buy a Ridge last week. I still might, but im going to check into the other major brands closer now.

I know, im the same..that hugh thing is so ugly and then not to open, and hate the one wiper,......but the buckets seats are nice just like our machine. BUT THEIR WAY TO HIGH,...even if i didnt drive that would kill the back of my legs hanging like that all day, how miserable....guess will be looking other places too.

Went to our dealer in Carson, NV. They still don't have the 2026 crew in yet. Soon they say. Of course, they want full retail and telling me dealer prep and set-up, etc., adds another 5K. That is robbery.
Can anyone here tell me what they are paying for the 2026 Ridge Crew Ranch in other states? Thanks so much,
Kirk

My dealer told me that the 25 ridges were on sale on and off all last year, so give it a month and see what pricing is then.

Funny your should ask. After a year with a clutch that we have done everything to except throw it in the fire and and melt it down for fishing weights , I just got a new primary and secondary clutch from Kawi. It is 500% better and I did have an AA Clutch Kit on my machine before this. I don't beat the crap out of my stuff, but this new clutch is smooth as silk, and way less RPM's. Way better than the old clutch with the AA kit in it. I am not sure I would put any clutch kit on it until you try the stock set up. As far as sound goes, I drove a 26 and I could not tell any difference between that and mine. I also upgraded to 30" tires from the 27's, but did not change shocks. For what I do, (I am a sporting clay Instructor), I basicly go around in circles on the course with my students, and plow my driveway..........not something I think I would do. I did add some soundproofing to the doors and bed, but honestly do not think it did any good. Good luck with yours............mine needs an exorcism not a mechanic.

Thanks so much for adding to the post. We have had a chance to go look at the 2-seater and the crew, of course, my wife likes the crew. Our dealer in Carson, NV, still does not have any 2026's, but they are coming. I'm glad to hear the new clutch is working well, and I agree, best to try out the stock one first. The 2026 comes with 30's. I will try those out before going to 32's. The suspension and the A-arm bushings I will do before we get it dirty. The A-arm job is going to be a pain, but it's pretty much mandatory. I have not read that it has been fixed/improved in 2026.
Sporting clays is fun. Love shooting:-) Have a great summer.

I have not heard about the A arm bushings issue............what is the deal with them?

I would like to hear about the A arm issues as well.
Ive had my 25 crew 3 or 4 weeks now and i have not noticed any clutch issues but like Brittboy mine will get very little use when its not on a sporting clays course or plowing snow.
