It is our great pleasure to warmly invite you to the 19th Club Show of the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Zagreb, held as part of the DALMATIA Dog Shows 2025, in the stunning and sun-kissed city of Zadar, Croatia – a truly dreamlike setting.

We are honored to welcome as our judge Mrs. Liz Storey (UK), breeder of the renowned Kiromol Rhodesian Ridgebacks – a true specialist in the breed, highly respected by Ridgeback lovers worldwide 🇬🇧.
Her presence brings authenticity, expertise, and the true spirit of the breed.

This show is all about joy, connection, and a friendly spirit, proudly organized by Rhodesian Ridgeback Club Zagreb, in collaboration with the wonderful Bulldog Club Croatia.

ABOUT THE JUDGE: Liz Storey – Kiromol Rhodesian Ridgebacks

Paul and I had our first Ridgeback (Sonny) from the Wiljoe Kennel from Alf and Joan Coventry in 1988. Wiljoe Ollie followed eighteen months later from the same kennel. When Ollie was 18 months old, Kim (Ch Sansilver Diamond Life of Kiromol) came to us from David & Linda Seaman (Sansilver), and she was the foundation bitch of our kennel today.

We lost Sonny far too young, but shortly after we welcomed into our home a Black and Tan Segugio Italiano called Roma. This is how our kennel name was born – “KI” from Kim, “ROM” from Roma, and “OL” from Ollie.

We bred our first litter in 1994, with the Kiromol affix being registered in 1992. Kim gained 3 CC’s and 2 Reserve CC’s, and won consistently at both championship and open show level. She was to be the first Champion at the Kiromol kennel.

I first judged Ridgebacks in 1994. I have awarded 6 sets of CC’s in the UK to date, with a further appointment confirmed for 2026. I awarded my first set of CC's at Southern Counties Championship Show on 1st June 2013. I have awarded CAC's in the Netherlands, Sweden, Czech Republic, Italy, and the Republic of Ireland. I’ve also handled at the World Congress in Toronto and in Palm Springs, California, where I judged a special class for the San Diego RR Club at the stunning Empire Polo Ground.

To date, Kiromol has bred a Canadian Champion, an American Champion, two Irish Champions, and 10 UK Champions. We have bred the CRUFTS Best Puppy in Breed seven times and been awarded Top Breeder UK, Top Stud Dog UK, and Top Brood Bitch UK three times.

Our breeding includes, in my opinion, some of the most prestigious bloodlines of past decades. I credit my main mentor as Susan Simper of the successful Matabele kennel in the UK.

I look for true, sound movement. Conformation is everything to me. A dog must be balanced – you can see it immediately. I’ve always been taught, and I always remember when judging: “If it moves correctly, it’s made correctly.”
