I live in a tent, and the Indian caller tried to sell me solar. I kept on having to repeat that I live in a tent and don't have a house, but he couldn't understand. He then got quite rude and then slammed the phone on me. They've called several times and on the last time I asked them how they are calling me when I don't own a phone. They seemed quite confused.

Called, addressed me by name and thanked me for returning her call. When challenged, launched into solar scam pitch. Told her to check our roof on Google Earth and hung up. Easy to mislead someone who’s been researching, solar, has missed any calls or whose memory is unreliable.

The guy called and said I had put my details in for some kind of trade website. I said I did not and he said you must have clicked a link and put your details down. When I said I didn’t he kept talking rudely over the top of me. So I called him a scammer as I became angry and hung up. Rude man

At 2:28pm, I got a call from 0468 229 145. I answered, but the call disconnected after about 4 seconds.
Then at 2:47pm, another number 0468 229 374 called. I answered again, but there was no sound at all, and it also hung up after a few seconds.
Feels very suspicious and likely spam.

I live in a tent, and the Indian caller tried to sell me solar. I kept on having to repeat that I live in a tent and don't have a house, but he couldn't understand. He then got quite rude and then slammed the phone on me. They've called several times and on the last time I asked them how they are calling me when I don't own a phone. They seemed quite confused.

I have been getting spammed by numbers starting with 02 8551 (including this one). First one was Saturday night at 7pm. Hung up and then have been hammered by calls since, as well as from unknown numbers. All scams purporting to be Paypal. Paypal will rarely call unsolicited. Hang up and contact them if you're worried.
