The group studied animal and crop production systems and the impact that utility projects could have on turnover and scheduling. They also visited Reaseheath\u2019s high yielding dairy operation, commercial pig unit and anaerobic digester.<\/p>\n<p>National Grid delegate James Dean said: \u201cDalcour Maclaren and Reaseheath College delivered an excellent learning opportunity which enabled National Grid\u2019s land officers to fully understand the challenges currently facing the agricultural industry. One of its nationwide offices is at Crewe Hall in Cheshire, which is near to Reaseheath\u2019s Nantwich campus.<\/p>\n<p>Chartered surveyor Andrew Barker, who helped to organise the event, said: \u00a0\u201cAt Dalcour Maclaren\u00a0 we go to great lengths to support the training of our graduates and qualified surveyors.\u00a0 By working with Reaseheath, we have been able to take our training focus to the next level, as we have been able to pass on skills and knowledge to National Grid\u2019s frontline staff as well as to our own employees.
