class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><em>Reaseheath College and University Centre calls on industry to help create career-ready workforce.<br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\nExperienced construction and engineering professionals are being invited to explore a new direction in their careers at a series of staff recruitment events hosted by Reaseheath College and University Centre.<\/p>\n<p>The Nantwich-based college is holding dedicated events on Tuesday, February 24th, giving skilled tradespeople and vehicle engineers the opportunity to find out how they could move into teaching within Further Education and help create the next generation of career-ready workers.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/construction\/\">Construction<\/a> Recruitment Event will take place in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/construction\/\">Construction<\/a> Centre on the main college campus in Nantwich from 6pm to 8pm, welcoming experienced bricklayers, joiners, plasterers, site supervisors and construction managers who may be ready for a fresh challenge.<\/p>\n<p>On the same day, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/agricultural-engineering\/\">Engineering<\/a> Staff Recruitment Event will be held at the College\u2019s Reaseheath Engineering Apprenticeship Academy (REAA) 6am to 9am and then 5pm to 8pm, aimed at experienced engineers and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/motor-vehicle\/\">motor vehicle<\/a> technicians interested in becoming lecturers.<\/p>\n<p>Andy Gould, Curriculum Area Manager for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/construction\/\">Construction<\/a> at Reaseheath, said: \u201cWe are industry focused and career ready in everything we do. Our students aren\u2019t just gaining qualifications; they are preparing for long-term careers in construction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo do that well, we need tutors who understand site standards, expectations and the realities of the job. If you\u2019ve built your career in the industry, your experience could make a real difference.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Savraj Bains, Curriculum Area Manager for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/agricultural-engineering\/\">Engineering<\/a>, added: \u201cEngineering businesses need skilled technicians who can step straight into the workplace and add value.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen experienced engineers move into teaching, they bring current knowledge, professional behaviours and industry insight with them. That directly strengthens the career prospects of our learners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Importantly, no teaching qualification or classroom experience is required to apply. Reaseheath offers funded teacher training routes, worth up to \u00a37,000, enabling new lecturers to earn while they train. New staff are also fully supported by dedicated mentoring and a professional development programme, to help them transition from their trade into teaching.<\/p>\n<p>The informal drop-in events allow prospective applicants to tour Reaseheath\u2019s industry-standard workshops, speak with current staff and find out more about current and upcoming vacancies.<\/p>\n<p>There are also additional <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/further-education\/courses\/construction\/\">Construction<\/a> Recruitment Events taking place on Saturday, March 21st between 2pm and 4pm and Friday, March 26th, 7am to 9am.
