For my college study I\u2019m based at Reaseheath\u2019s Engineering Apprenticeship Academy and I spend the rest of my time being mentored at my depot in Somerset.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFirst Bus is a forward thinking company which is moving towards a zero emission fleet, so I\u2019m gaining transferable skills with different hand tools and systems as the fleet transfers to hybrid and all electric transport vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s an exciting industry to be in and you learn something new and interesting every day. Gaining a well recognised qualification opens up so many opportunities &#8211; and you\u2019re getting paid at the same time!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe best thing about studying at Reaseheath is the wealth of experience of the lecturers and that the sessions are delivered both in the classroom and in the workshop.
