It includes two progressive programmes: <strong>Pathway to Work<\/strong> and <strong>Supported Internships<\/strong>, both designed to develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed for successful transitions into the world of work.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><br \/>\n<div  class='tabcontainer av-40zfmyt-39bed9363d69588418867ff1ac6e241a top_tab  avia-builder-el-4  el_after_av_textblock  el_before_av_textblock ' role='tablist'>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-3o62uat-afd6dee176cfde7bf7e9bb3095dcbfbc'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab active_tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-1' aria-controls='tab-id-1-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Pathway to Work<\/div><div id='tab-id-1-content' class='tab_content active_tab_content' aria-hidden=\"false\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p><span data-teams=\"true\">Pathway to Work is a bespoke, non-qualification programme tailored to progress young people towards their EHCP outcomes, ready to move into employment or a Supported Internship.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Pathway to Work uses a RARPA framework. RARPA stands for recognising and recording progress and achievement and this helps to ensure the quality of the programme supporting young people in achieving personalised outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>The programme offers a structured and supportive journey, guiding learners from supported work placements toward more independent, real-world experiences. With a focus on preparation for adulthood, Pathway to Work empowers learners to identify their personal goals, broaden their knowledge base, and develop the practical capabilities needed to make informed decisions about their future.<\/p>\n<p>Through meaningful work experience, targeted skill development, and embedded employability learning, learners are supported to achieve personalised and purposeful outcomes. Progression routes may include Supported Internships, Apprenticeships, Supported Employment or direct entry into paid work.<\/p>\n<p>Our mission is to provide an inclusive, flexible, and aspirational stepping-stone into adult life\u2014championing lifelong learning and ensuring every learner is equipped with the tools, support, and opportunities they need to grow, succeed, and thrive in a role that is right for them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Places are limited and applicants must be ready to make the final step towards moving into the workplace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<section class='av_tab_section av_tab_section av-mgqfbnyj-559d3a8e59e0382d0add15a2b5321e01'  itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='tab' role='tab' tabindex='0' data-fake-id='#tab-id-2' aria-controls='tab-id-2-content'  itemprop=\"headline\" >Supported Internships<\/div><div id='tab-id-2-content' class='tab_content' aria-hidden=\"true\"><div class='tab_inner_content invers-color'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>Supported Internships offer a structured, work-based learning programme for young people with EHCPs ready to move into real workplace settings.<\/p>\n<p>These programmes are typically for young people coming to the end of their academic journey, ready to move into work. Often it will be internal applicants, but this may be the aspiration for new students coming to join us.<\/p>\n<p>The internship normally lasts for a year and includes a work placement of 2 to 3 days per week, with support in the workplace from a job coach where needed.<\/p>\n<p>Students will combine their placement with vocational learning at college along with working on critical skills in Maths and English.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of Supported Internships is to prepare young people with individual needs for paid employment by:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supporting them to develop the skills valued by employers<\/li>\n<li>Enabling them to demonstrate their value in the workplace<\/li>\n<li>Developing confidence at their own abilities to perform successfully at work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For further information, please visit: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reaseheath.ac.uk\/entry-level-and-foundation\/supported-internships-for-students\/\">Supported Internships<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/section>\n<\/div><br \/>\n<section  class='av_textblock_section av-mmp3igrb-ff1ff70cf69fa8b3aaefd000feba3e66 '   itemscope=\"itemscope\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/CreativeWork\" ><div class='avia_textblock'  itemprop=\"text\" ><p>This programme is designed as an aspirational progression route for students currently studying at the College, rather than as an entry point for new applicants.<\/p>\n<p>Applications from internal students should demonstrate that the individual is ready for the demands of the programme and has the skills, motivation and commitment required to progress successfully towards employment.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants will normally be expected to have achieved attendance above 90% and demonstrate strong engagement with their studies.
