MERV starts with a freemium tier, so the core features are accessible and enable you to generate a general score. A premium subscription unlocks a far more granular score, deeper educational resources, and — gradually over the remainder of 2026 — multi-persona coordination across all four household personas. Specific pricing will be available at launch.

Merv offers an optional feature that lets you sync your user profile across multiple devices that you own. Sync is strictly optional and operates only when you explicitly enable it. You cannot recover your data if you lose access to your platform account, your devices, or your encryption keys. This is a direct consequence of end-to-end encryption: keys are held only on your devices, and Protective IQ cannot reconstruct them. We strongly recommend keeping at least two devices signed into Merv.
