2025 ICD-10-CM Updates
CMS released its latest updates to the Clinical Modification (ICD-10-CM) for 2025 and includes 74,260 codes. The update, effective 1st Oct 2024, includes:
- 252 new codes
- 13 revised codes
- 36 deleted codes
These codes are for use with discharges occurring from October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025, and for patient encounters occurring from October 1, 2024 – March 31, 2025.
