Poly-Mor’s many years of experience in specialized foam installation means you get the industry’s most capable workmanship and a job well done.
Since 1998, Poly-Mor Canada Inc. has been Lifting, Stabilizing, Filling voids and Sealing Leaks. Over the past two decades we have worked closely with Airports, Provincial Road Works, Railways, Oil Sands contractors and more. Between our certifications, experience, and proprietary installation techniques; we proudly stand as the only coast to coast to coast industrial foam installer for these applications.
Our process for leak-sealing employs a special high density hydro-insensitive resin which is injected through small 5/8″ holes drilled directly through the concrete or metal wall parallel with the crack or break that requires sealing . As the resin mixture expands, voids are firstly filled and a controlled mold pressure is exerted. The aggressive nature of the Poly-Mor resin expands, fills and seals cracks in the retaining structure from the outside, inwards.
Our unique process for void filling employs an array of special high density expanding polymer resins which are typically injected through small 5/8″ diameter holes drilled through a concrete slab; into voided soils conditions such as blast rock; into annular spaces; or any other spaces or voided areas requiring void filling. As the resin mixture expands, voids are filled and a controlled mold pressure is exerted on a limited ( 8′ — 10′ diameter) area. The aggressive nature of our resins not only effectively fill voids but will also effectively seal and help in the prevention of water infiltration.
Poly-Mor uses a form of “chemical compaction grouting” where a special high density, hydro-insensitive expanding polymer resin is used to fill, densify and stabilize low density, compressible soils to depths of 30 feet and beyond. The Poly-Mor resins are delivered and placed at the appropriate depths in the required soils strata via drilled or driven injection probes . As the Poly-Mor resin is injected, it expands and provides a compaction or lift force of up to 50 tons per square meter thereby filling, compressing and compacting adjacent soils and significantly increasing the load bearing capacity of the base soils resting under a structure. Our soils densification process is also excellent for conglomerating and binding non-cohesive soils.
Sunken driveways typically result from inadequate base construction, soil erosion caused by water movement beneath the slab, or the effects of freeze/thaw cycles and frost heaves—especially in Alberta. Over time, voids form beneath the slab, causing it to tilt or sink. This often leads to large cracks and crevices, allowing even more water infiltration from rain and snowmelt, which accelerates the erosion process. As the driveway continues to sink, it can create hazardous trip points and areas where water pools, posing a significant concern for homeowners. Our hydro-insensitive polymer resins work by displacing any trapped water and filling voids with a stable, long-lasting base material. The composite cures rapidly, allowing your driveway to be ready for normal use as soon as the work zone is cleared. EXCELLENT Based on 31 reviews Posted on EarlTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Good, clear, competitive quote from James. Mike and a helper came and did a great job raising some slabs at my front door and securing my front steps from sagging in future. Happy customer. Thanks guys!Posted on Jagdeep Sandhu (Jag Sandhu)Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I am writing to share my exceptionally positive experience with Poly Mor, particularly concerning the raising of my driveway about three years ago. While the driveway did sink slightly two years after the initial service, Poly Mor responded promptly to my email and came out to raise it again. After the second raising, we experienced a few minor cracks, and once again, Poly Mor was wonderful to deal with. They committed to coming out to fill in those cracks that resulted from the second service. Poly Mor went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the outcome. I also recommended them to my sister, whose driveway was completed about two years ago and remains in perfect condition. Patrick, in particular, was great to deal with; you can clearly tell he cares about the company. I have attached some pictures of what the driveway looked like after the second raising for your reference. Thank you, Jag SandhuPosted on James BerubeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Yantao and Randy came a did an amazing job on my back yard. They found some problems that I didn’t notice and left everything nice and clean. Got rid of all the tripping hazards in my yard.Posted on William WongTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Contracted with Poly-mor to poly-jack, not mud-jack, the driveway and walkway of my son’s house in Cold Lake. The driveway and walkway have sunk 2 inches lower than the garage floor and front staircase, respectively, over the years. The job was completed professionally and above expectations from start to finish. The northern Alberta team, Bobby and John, showed up on the day expected, 2 hours before the promised time of arrival, were knowledgeable and skilled with their trade and craftsmanship, provided a heads-up on potential issues with the job, and cleaned up after the work was done. I would highly recommend them to repair your driveway and/or walkway. A lot less expensive compared to demolishing and replacing. Throughout the work, communication with Poly-mor was both timely and as promised.Posted on Allan WAIDMANTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent job, well done. Driveway had dropped and sloped to one side to about 3". Was skeptical about this but seemed like a good option but I had to watch it happen. Amazing, been wanting to get this fixed for past 5 yrs, this was the answer, now is level with the garage floor. Poly-mor team was fantastic!Posted on Tom LinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. excellent work, friendly crew, reasonable price, highly recommended!!!Posted on Joanne DolanTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
