Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe
The Port Gamble S’Klallam were originally known as the Nux Sklai Yem—or the Strong People—and are the descendants of the Salish people who have been well established in the Puget Sound basin and surrounding areas since 2400 B.C.
In the late 1930s, the Port Gamble S’Klallam reservation, located on the northern tip of the Kitsap peninsula in Washington state, was established. Many of the Tribe’s members, who total about 1400, still live there today.

The mission of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe is to exercise sovereignty and ensure self-determination and self sufficiency through visionary leadership.
We will ensure the health, welfare, and economic success of a vibrant community through education, economic development, preservation and protection of the rich culture, traditions, language, homelands, and natural resources of our tribe.

The Point Casino & Hotel
The Point Casino & Hotel is located in Kingston, Washington and is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The facility offers over 750 slot machines, 12 table games, sports betting, and a variety of bars and restaurants. The casino is attached to the 94-room, boutique Point Hotel. The casino and hotel employ over 300 staff and is operated on behalf of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe by Noo-Kayet Investments.
Heronswood® Garden
Heronswood® Garden is home to 9,000 plant species from six of the world’s seven continents and several gardens that reflect Tribal culture and Pacific Northwest horticulture.
Heronswood® is located in Kingston, Washington, and is operated by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Foundation.
