However, as the digital inclusion community has grown and broadened, we felt that maintaining a distinction between Partner and Other is contrary to the notion of inclusion that we aim to promote. Therefore, we thank all of those organizations that have participated to date, but we have retired the concept of a Partner Agency, and encourage everyone to participate in and contribute to the broader community, as identified through NDIA affiliation.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will continue to work with NDIA and their affiliates to identify and develop resources that will serve the digital inclusion community.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We will maintain resources that we have found to be unique and helpful which don&#8217;t overtax our capabilities.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We look forward to continuing to work with you.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Barry, Maryanna, and Katherine<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Our mission is to<\/strong><b> support agencies that provide digital inclusion services including equipment, training, technical support &amp; broadband connectivity.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Our goals are for Partners Bridging the Digital Divide to:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Connect members of the digital inclusion community to increase the knowledge of all.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Collect links and host material that otherwise wouldn\u2019t be public so agencies can avoid duplicating work.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Build on existing structures to identify needs which aren&#8217;t being met.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We encourage you to take a look at what we have by clicking on the links above, or read our <a href=\"https:\/\/pbdd.org\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">about us<\/a> page.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more about digital inclusion, check out:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.digitalinclusion.org\/awareness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Digital Inclusion Alliance Awareness page<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.broadbandconnectsamerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Broadband Connects America<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The digital divide is what separates individuals and communities from the technology and training needed for full participation in our society, democracy and economy.<\/p>\n<p>It is almost impossible to do anything these days without having computer skills: applying for a job, taking the GED test, communicating with family.
