Just another idiot trying to find meaning in his life by writing about movies.You probably know me from&nbsp;<a href="https://letterboxd.com/screeningnotes/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">Letterboxd</a>. The story goes like this: I went to college wanting to become a teacher, but the education program at my school was awful, so I pivoted to the much more financially stable career of writing communist propaganda and psychoanalytic nonsense on the internet.Now I fulfill my dream of teaching by helping film lovers understand movies — or, at least, so I hope. I also work a day job as an Editorial &amp; Quality Assurance Specialist for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.jwatch.org/" rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow">NEJM Journal Watch</a>, but it's a tough world out there for us writers, so any and every dollar you contribute is incredibly meaningful to me. These days, I'm writing less and spending more time on my family as we prepare for (or, depending on when you're reading this and whether I've updated it, actively raise) our first child.
