Who am I? Hi! I’m ancestral, and I created a website called <a href="https://mtg.design">MTG.Design</a> for creating your own custom Magic: The Gathering cards. It’s easy to use, works in any browser, and makes great-looking, high quality images. Create, download, and save them on the site for later. It’s a free for anyone to use! I created MTG.Design in 2015 when, after getting back into Magic, I was unhappy with the existing tools to make custom cards. The typography often looked off, the resolution was awfully low, and there was a lack of support on mobile devices. So I decided to create my own. Why Patreon? MTG.Design has always been a passion project for me. I’m happy to provide a service for people to use free of charge. However, the reality is MTG.Design is solely managed by a single person, worked on in their spare time, on a tight budget. Every month I have taken a loss, and it’s not sustainable. With your support, I will be able to offset increased server costs and justify paying for upgrades to improve speed and storage. I will be able to dedicate more time to improving site usability and features. Besides building more card graphics, I will be able to find resources to make a proper tutorial. And there are plenty of features people would love to have that you can then help me produce faster. What do you get? As a patron, you’ll have a voice in deciding what features should be worked on next, and get early access to them. Support for specific card frames? User interface changes? Community sharing features? You can choose how to shape the future of MTG.Design! You’ll have early and exclusive access to new site features and the official Discord. For larger donors, as a reward and a way to say thanks, I will send out small customized goods every 6 months (some shipping restrictions may apply), celebrating the awesome, custom-made things people make in the Magic community. What’s in the future? I’m already hard at work on a new version of the site which, when live, I can finally be comfortable removing the beta label. A preview version is available to all patrons. Not satisfied with various small incorrect details and performance delays, I’ve rewritten the entire rendering engine and graphics from the bottom up. I’m very excited, as this will make adding new frames easier and faster. Free

As a Heroic Member, you’ll be recognized as a regular contributor to the site. Even a small amount of support can go a long way. And you’ll also have exclusive access to the MTG.Design Discord server.

Heroic

As a Legendary Member, you’ll be able to test out new features before they go live to everyone else. You’ll have exclusive access to the MTG.Design Discord server. You’ll have a larger storage card limit, higher quality card images, and the ability to vote on which features get added to the service next. Every 12 months, you will get the same merchandise rewards as Mythic donors, except half as often. <ul> </ul>

Legendary

As a Mythic Member, you’ll have all the features of the Legendary Member, plus virtually no card limit storage, access to your own creator channel, where people can see your sets on the website and interact with you in your own channel on the official Discord. Every 6 months I will have custom goodies to send you! (Some shipping restrictions may apply.)
