FreeDOS is on Patreon FreeDOS is an open source DOS operating system that you can use to play classic DOS games, run legacy software, or develop embedded systems. Any program that works on MS-DOS should also run on FreeDOS. FreeDOS founder Jim Hall has started a Patreon so you can support his work on FreeDOS! Help keep the FreeDOS Project going by making a monthly pledge. With your support, we can make the next version of FreeDOS even better! How your donations help Your donations will help me free up my time to do more direct work on FreeDOS. If I can generate enough income from Patreon, I can take time out of my consulting practice and commit more time to work on FreeDOS. With this extra time, I'll be able to work on bug fixes, add new features, and make new releases. Is donating right for you? Please don't feel obligated to donate. FreeDOS is a great hobby that I've been working on with a great developer community for over twenty-five years (since June 1994) so I'll keep working on FreeDOS regardless. But with your support, I can dedicate even more time to work on FreeDOS. Whether or not you decide to pledge on Patreon, I hope you'll at least follow us on Facebook or Twitter, and subscribe the discussion on our freedos-devel or freedos-user email lists. Your support means a lot! Other ways to connect with the FreeDOS Project: FreeDOS Project website» (subscribe to the email lists) Follow us on Facebook»
