Thinking Is Power

Many semesters ago, while teaching a general-education biology class at a community college, I had an epiphany: Is memorizing the stages of mitosis really that important?  I wondered, what does the “average” person need to know about science…and what would that course look like? Three skills rose to the top as the most important: critical thinking, information literacy, and science literacy. And the best way to learn these skills is through relatable content, entertaining stories, approachable language, and colorful graphics. (No taking ourselves too seriously here!) And so <a href="https://thinkingispower.com/">Thinking Is Power</a> was born. Welcome, and thank you for being here!
