My biggest passion is drawing comics and ever since I started uploading them in 2009, I've never stopped keeping updates coming, despite bad health and other struggles.I'm the artist behind 'Bloody War', 'Unlike', '3 Tauren and 1 Worgen' and 'Two of a kind'. Sadly, drawing comics by itself does not pay your bills, so I decided to start this Patreon page. This way fans of my comics have the chance to provide me with more time to spend on drawing new pages for faster uploads and more to read for them. Is this how it's supposed to be?Well, yes and no. An intended feature by Patreon, but not by me.It happens because Patreon will charge you the transactional fee twice. First from EUR to USD and then back again from USD to EUR.There is a simple fix for it:If you are a new Patron you can pick your local currency on checkout.If you are already an existing Patron you can visit your Settings &gt; Active Memberships &gt; Pick my Creator-account &gt; View Details &gt; Click Edit next to the payment method. Then click on the EUR currency code and click the Update&nbsp;button to save your settings.What is the Cameo-Pool?A channel on Discord, where people in the Ambitious Otter tier and up may post a reference-sheet of their character, they would like to see somewhere in the background of any of my comics. While there is no 100% guarantee that the character might be chosen for one specific comic, because it needs to fit into the setting, I'll still do my best to include it at a different spot or setting, if the owner is fine with it.What is the 'Monthly Drawing'?As the name suggest, there will be a drawing every month, that will feature characters of Patrons in the Smart Fox and Golden Lion tier. The topic for this drawing will be chosen by Patrons. Once it's chosen, there will be another post for Smart Foxes and up to decide if they want to take part in the Monthly Drawing or get an icon/ bust-shot of their character. Besides commenting with a reference sheet of their character, Patrons may also include one of my characters they want theirs to interact with or, if both sides agree, may also interact with each other.The finished drawing together with the Golden Lion commissions will be uploaded to a special channel on the Discord server. See the link above.What are "comic-illustrations"?Comic-illustrations are drawings of one or maximum two of my characters from a certain comic or story.Ambitious Otters and up may make suggestions and vote on which characters are featured in the next illustration on Discord.They will also get a much higher resolution illustration and access to alternative versions.In a month there might be one illustration, none or several, depending how much time I have to spare and how I feel like.Maybe I'll add "Guaranteed monthly comic-ilustration" to the 3rd main goal, if people would like that. (Let me know on the current September 2025 status update)I'm in the Smart Fox Plus tier and I'd like my character to interact with one of yours. Should I claim it right away or wait for the next month to claim it?Smart Fox and Golden Lion are the most desired tiers and will be taken quicker than any of the others.If the switch happens during the course of the month and the former tier owner has already claimed their artwork reward, no further rewards will be given out for this month. This is a measurement to prevent an overload of the Monthly and this artist's to-do list.It all comes down to your own preference.If you want to claim the slot immediately to prevent anyone else from getting it: Go ahead. Just be aware you're very likely going to have to wait for the next month to get your first artwork reward(s).
