Noworyta Gets 100th Win Behind Strong Start
KANNAPOLIS, N.C. - The Fireflies bats worked behind a strong start from Ryan McDonagh to claim their second-straight win over Kannapolis, this time 4-1 Wednesday afternoon at Atrium Health Ballpark. The win was Manager David Noworyta's 100th regular season victory as the Fireflies skipper.

Quakes Tee off on Ports, Secure Series-Opening Win
Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. - The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (2-2, 38-32) lived by the long ball in their return to Morongo Field on Tuesday evening, sending four balls over the wall to see off the Stockton Ports (2-2, 29-41) 9-2.
After both teams came up empty in the first inning, Rancho Cucamonga broke through in the bottom of the second. Following a Ryland Zaborowski double, Victor Rodriguez launched a two-run home run in his first-ever Single-A at-bat, handing the Quakes a 2-0 lead.

Fort Wayne Fires 18th One-Hitter in Franchise History in Series Opening Win
EASTLAKE, Ohio. - The Fort Wayne TinCaps fired the 18th one-hitter in franchise history in Tuesday night's 6-2 win over the Lake County Captains (Guardians affiliate).
Right-hander Matthew Watson got his first professional win for Fort Wayne (30-40, 3-1). Watson went six innings, a career high, and allowed the lone hit of the evening. Spartanburgers Come Back, Walk off Winston-Salem on Passed Ball
SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Hub City has made a recent habit of late inning comeback efforts. Last week in Frederick, the 'Burgers brought the tying run to the plate in the ninth in four straight games. The series opener against Winston-Salem stayed true to the trend, as the Spartanburgers (2-2, 36-34) beat the Dash (1-3, 39-31) 5-4 on a walk-off passed ball.
