Making social protection transformative in fragile contexts
What does having an impact mean to us?
Quite simply, it’s about making people's lives better – and making change last.
In Nepal, we’ve helped transform the country’s climate and disaster risk agenda over a decade – supporting policies that direct 80% of international climate finance to local communities. In Ethiopia, we’re working with national and local partners to reach zero-dose children with life-saving vaccines. And in Pakistan, we’re equipping school leaders with the tools to take charge of their budgets.
And these are just some of the 1,500+ projects we have delivered over almost five decades. This is what real impact looks like to us: locally-led, rooted in evidence, and focused on sustainable public policy that delivers lasting, positive change.
