HP Load Runner (LR) Training Course Overview
Load Runner (LR) training imparts the knowledge and skills to conduct performance testing in any business application. LR is an automated load testing tool from Hewlett Packard (HP) that allows testing the application before, during, and after the deployment.
The training will provide comprehensive study on the major components of this tool namely, Virtual User Generator (VuGen), Controller, Generator, and Analysis. Participants will gain understanding on the fundamentals of performance testing and with hands-on exposure will gradually develop the skills for a successful performance testing effort at professional level. HP LR training will enable the trainees to utilize LF features for automated load/performance tests.

- Understand the need of LoadRunner (LR) and its testing process
- Plan, create, enhance, and correlate automated Vuser (Virtual User) scripts using VuGen
- Define and insert Rendezvous point
- Create, manage, and run the load test scenarios using the Controller
- Schedule scenarios for load test execution
- Generate the load against the application using the Generator
- Use the Analysis tool to analyze load test results for detecting performance bottlenecks and preventing application performance problems
Course Prerequisite
While there is no formal pre prerequisite for this training, however candidates with a strong interest in software testing or quality management are the ideal participants for this course. Knowledge of manual testing will be an added advantage.
