MGED will be adjusting the Purchase Gas Adjustment (PGA) beginning with the January 2026 billing for natural gas usage. The PGA is part of MGED's rate structure and allows us to recover costs as needed. Due to an especially harsh winter with persistent cold and heavy snowfall, natural gas prices have increased. As a result, the PGA will change from 1.1969/CCF to 1.2927/CCF. MGED will continue to monitor prices closely and make further adjustments if necessary.
