Opening & Service Hours

On May 5, Birks Reading Room will be closed as of noon and Rare Books and Special Collections will close at 1:30 p.m.
Osler Library will close at noon on May 12.
All libraries will be closed Monday, May 18; Wednesday, June 24; and Wednesday, July 1 for public holidays.
Macdonald Campus Library access restrictions: A current McGill ID card is required to access the building after 10pm on weeknights, and at all times on weekends. Faculty, staff, and students from the downtown campus must request access in advance (email macdonald.library [at] mcgill.ca (macdonald[dot]library[at]mcgill[dot]ca)). Thank you to the Macdonald Campus Students’ Society for their support of extended hours at the Macdonald Campus Library.
During the 24/7 access period at the McLennan-Redpath Library Complex, a valid McGill ID card is required for entry after midnight. Extended hours at the downtown campus are made possible thanks to the SSMU Library Improvement Fund.
