(146) Frank G. Cardello, 56, of Independence, MO, passed away on April 7, 2026. His original initiation date was 9/13/2006 and was reinstated 4/21/2022. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 13, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church located at 11822 Holmes Road, KCMO 64131. (146) Bobby E. Nickels, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was initiated 5/5/1975 (with 50 years and 10 months of service), retired on 7/1/2017 and became a Life Member 5/5/2025. He is survived by his wife Gennie L. Nickels and a grandson, Tanner Lusk who is also a Local 533 Pipefitter. A Celebration of Life is pending and will be announced at a later date.
(145) Kenneth Lee Fox Jr., 72, of Collins, MO, passed away on February 27, 2026. He was initiated 3/6/1972 (with 53 years and 11 months of service), retired on 8/1/2013 and became a Life Member 3/6/2022. He is survived by his wife Donna Fox, son, Kenneth L. Fox III who is also a Local 533 Pipefitter, two sisters, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026, at The Elks Lodge – Gladstone; located at 7010 N Cherry St. #2376, Kansas City, MO 64118. Online Condolences can be made here.
(144) Richard M. Albrecht, 84, of Belton, MO, passed away on January 31, 2026. His original initiation date was August 5, 1963. He took an honorable withdrawal on December 31, 1986, reinstated on July 30, 2002 (with 23 years of service), and retired on August 1, 2003.
‹He is survived by his children: Michele Burke, Lori Hoy, Stephanie Flannagan, Richard M. Albrecht, Jr., and Aimee Bishop; his brother, Jim Albrecht; and ten grandchildren. One of his grandchildren is Andrew “Drew” Hoy, who is also a Local 533 Pipefitter.
‹Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 700 Trevis Ave., Belton, MO 64012. Mass will take place from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM., followed by a Celebration of Life at Broken Hatchet Brewery, 422 Main Street, Belton, MO 64012, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
