Many teachers wonder how to effectively teach programming, especially those who have a very small pool of school hours at their disposal. An additional factor is the complexity of the topic: how do you start teaching programming effectively? How to choose the right approach that will guarantee that every child participates in the educational process and acquires the necessary knowledge and skills?

VIDI X has developed a pedagogical approach that addresses these issues and that is incorporated into our teaching plans.

VIDI X Microcomputer Kit

VIDI X is a powerful microcomputer kit with unlimited possibilities that is simple and fast to use in the classroom. It includes lesson plans for middle and high schools. They also offer exceptional teacher training and support.

VIDI X features a powerful ESP32 processor with dual cores, built-in Wi-Fi and BT, and has a 2.8″ touchscreen. It functions as both a multifunctional microcomputer and a development board. It can also be used as an efficient hub for a variety of different sensors.

The device has an array of basic components like a built-in microphone, speaker, temperature sensor, IR diode, and light sensor. These components are all connected via a DIP switch to ESP32, enabling the user to select which sensors to connect. If a larger number of input/ output pins are required, users can release pins for sensors with a microswitch. This opens up a wealth of possibilities for connection to various input/ output units such as sensors and actuators.

VIDI X Lesson Plans

VIDI X Universe

The VIDI X Universe program Introduction to Computer Science has been developed for middle schools and high schools and is a new exceptional online education program described by teachers as “well-planned,” “accessible,” “innovative,” and “fascinating.”
“This is an awesome tool, and I want to get this in my school soon” claims a Memphis School of Excellence Cordova Elementary teacher.
“It looks balanced and open for students’ engagement” noticed a teacher from Lawrence County High School.

This new VIDI X Universe program is designed as an elegant online LMS that is fully operational within a browser but enables schools to implement computer science in a way their teachers prefer: lessons can be taught even without a computer! Each class features an offline activity and guide for teachers on how to implement it.
The VIDI X Universe debuted in 2026 at the Innovation Summit in Nashville, TN. Educators highlighted the teacher-led pacing and the ability to conduct lessons and activities even without computer access. This flexibility supports instruction in both digital and traditional classroom settings and allows teachers and students to interact away from screens.
The curricula align closely with all the core standards for computer science and allow schools and districts to implement the material across various educational environments, and according to their preferred schedule. VIDI X Universe is an ideal program for schools and teachers who are starting to implement computer science.
