The Wix Engineering Conference, our internal conference for all of our engineers, is one of the most exciting days of the year for me. What I love most is simply getting together with more than 1,000 engineers who are genuinely passionate about building things. The energy is almost impossible to replicate anywhere else. Seeing the creativity and innovation behind what our teams are working on, and watching the ideas spread and inspire each other, is pretty special. It was amazing to see everyone. The vibe was incredible and I had a lot of fun!

Last week I had the privilege of speaking at the Wix Engineering Conference 2026 - a meaningful experience for me. The past few months have been a particularly interesting period - building a new product end-to-end while working closely with a wide range of teams across Wix, shaping the idea, refining the system, and turning it into a practical and impactful flow. Big thanks to everyone involved 🙏🏼 the thinking, the execution, and the collaboration made all the difference. I’m glad I had the opportunity to share this on such a respected stage, alongside such talented people. And a big compliment to the team behind the conference - it was truly excellent, thoughtful, and inspiring. For more like those 👏

Who can agree with me, that every engineering team has this one system everyone depends on… but none of the developers wants to touch? 🙋 Last week, I had the opportunity to present at Wix Engineering Conference and share the amazing journey of our oldest project — Wixer, our data collection and statistical analysis pipeline for all the defined A/B tests at Wix. For years, our monolithic pipeline was a constant source of frustration - vulnerable to even the smallest coding error. When a major failure caused days of downtime, it became impossible to ignore. We recognized the need for a fundamental overhaul, not just incremental patches. Guided by six core principles - ease of use, reliability, robustness, coverage, flexibility, and transparency - we replaced the monolith with independent per-experiment pipelines, orchestrated by Airflow and powered by Spark. The result: no more cascading failures, dramatically better uptime, and faster experiment cycles. And the modular redesign unlocked something we didn't originally plan for - AI-driven experiment evaluation. We introduced "Evaluator" KPIs that use LLM-as-a-Judge to assess AI products like user conversations and content AI interactions directly inside experiments. 🤖 Something that definitely wasn’t possible in the old system. Great teams build great products! 🙌 Huge thanks to Agnius Valaitis, Elad Haziza, Grintas Junevičius - that took this vision and made it real. The new modular design of Wixer allowed us to quickly adapt to the rapid changes in the industry - and it came at exactly the right time.

Who would have thought that less than two months into my role, I’d find myself behind the scenes of an event at this scale? ✨ The Wix Engineering Conference has come to an end, and it’s been one of the most meaningful projects I’ve had the chance to be part of so far. As someone who recently joined Wix, I had the opportunity to be part of organizing the event, work alongside inspiring professionals, and experience high-level execution up close.
