Cancer doesn’t just affect health. It affects finances, families, and futures. Nearly 1 in 4 survivors report trouble paying medical bills. TriUnity Foundation is here to help lighten that burden. https://lnkd.in/dPdB6Mez

We’re stronger together, and this work proves it. Altra Federal Credit Union's CEO Steve Koenen says it best. For them, partnership wasn’t a question, it was a natural fit, because this mission matters. And when organizations choose collaboration over competition, the impact speaks for itself. “From the beginning, we didn’t hesitate to join the mission because helping people through life’s hardest moments is exactly what credit unions are built to do. This partnership has grown over the last three years and so has the impact we’ve been able to make together. When organizations come together instead of compete, incredible things happen for the people we serve.” – Steve Koenen, CEO Altra If you're looking for ways to make a difference in your community, we’d love for you to join us. Everyone involved in the Foundation has their own reason, their "why". Different stories, one shared mission. Here’s Chase Larson’s why: "When someone is facing a terminal illness, the last thing they should be worrying about is how they are going to make the next loan payment, pay the electric bill, or keep food on the table for their family. The Foundation was built to provide real financial support and grants to qualifying members during those moments. Not because it’s good PR. Not because it’s strategic. But because it’s the right thing to do. To me, this is the credit union movement at its absolute best."

Chuck and Sharon are just two of the people we’ve been able to support through the work of the Foundation. This is the kind of impact your support makes, giving families comfort, dignity, and a space to simply be together. “Because of this generous grant, we were able to enjoy the simple parts of life again; pizza nights, ice cream, and moments of normalcy. What this grant gave us most was comfort, dignity, and the chance to keep living life in the little ways people often take for granted. Sometimes support isn’t about something big, it’s about giving a family room to breathe.” — Sharon, grant recipient See how you can support families like Chuck and Sharon: https://lnkd.in/dPdB6Mez

We’re incredibly grateful for our partners, they make everything we do possible. While not a credit union partner, Emplify Health stepped up and said, “We want to be part of this.” Because of that commitment, we’re able to reach and support even more individuals in our community. “Healthcare is much more than the care people receive in hospitals and clinics. Education and community engagement with trusted partners is critical for overall health and well-being. Emplify Health looks forward to working with TriUnity Foundation partners to ensure information and resources about healthcare finances and available resources are shared broadly to benefit the people in our care.” – Nathan Franklin, Emplify Health Vice President of External Affairs and Sustainability
