The Rutherford Works team attended NC3 National Signing Day at the TCAT Murfreesboro! 🎉 This event is modeled after the NCAA's National Signing Day to recognize students who are making a celebrated commitment to their future; and for good reason: → Skilled trades are among the fastest-growing career fields in the country. → Career Technical Education (CTE) programs provide students with hands-on, job-ready skills from day one. → Celebrations like this shift the narrative that a technical career is a proud choice, not a fallback. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an NC3 Signing Day event, don't pass it up. 🎓 The energy and optimism in the room are a reminder of why workforce development work matters.

What does it take for elementary and middle school students to compete on a global stage? Three Rutherford County students recently found out! Aaron Berry from Rutherford County Virtual School, Knox Gullion from Wilson Elementary School and Ellie Turner from Stewarts Creek Middle School traveled to Atlanta, GA, for the Global Amazing Shake Competition. They competed alongside more than 500 students from schools around the world. 🌍 While the competition was fierce, the real victory was in the experience itself. Our students sharpened their skills, built confidence and gained invaluable preparation for future opportunities.
