Huge congratulations to Aaru on their feature in Vanity Fair. Founded as teenagers, Aaru has built a billion-dollar platform that simulates large-scale populations to predict how people think and act. Their technology enables organizations to test everything from product launches to policy decisions in real time. Now part of LIFT Labs Spring 2026 cohort, Aaru represents the kind of AI innovation shaping the future of technology at Comcast. https://lnkd.in/gZZGmmH9

LIFT Labs 2026 Spring Accelerator Day 1 is in the books! We welcomed six companies from across the U.S. to Comcast HQ in Philadelphia for a full day of working sessions with teams across the business. The day was built around roundtables and dedicated 1:1 meetings with business units, creating space to go deep on where each company’s technology can plug into real Comcast use cases. We ended the day at Citizens Bank Park, witnessing the Philadelphia Phillies' 7–0 victory. A perfect #Philly night to keep the momentum going. Here's to day two! 🚀 Thesys NEXTGRES Memories.ai Aaru Applied Compute 1mind

Last week, Sam Schwartz, Chief Business Development Officer at Comcast, sat down with May Habib, CEO & Co-Founder of WRITER, one of the defining voices in AI today. The discussion brought together teams from across Comcast to engage directly on what it takes to move AI beyond early use cases and into more embedded, agent-driven workflows. From driving real adoption to shifting away from simple productivity gains toward building workflows that automate and scale work, the conversation focused on how organizations can integrate AI into day-to-day operations in a more meaningful way. Thank you to May and to everyone who joined us!

Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs reposted this
NLX, a company in the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs and Comcast Ventures’ portfolio, announced it has been acquired by Amazon Web Services (AWS). This exciting milestone feels like a full-circle moment for a startup that came through our doors as a seed-stage company and built something significant. NLX is a conversational AI platform built for the enterprise: cloud-native, low-code, and endlessly scalable. It enables companies to deploy AI across voice, web, and text in ways that feel natural and intuitive. NLX has grown from a lean startup to a platform powering core operations for some of the most complex organizations in the world. The team joined the LIFT Labs accelerator cohort in early 2023, right in the thick of the generative AI moment. AI was a huge buzzword, and NLX was going beyond the hype to look to build something impactful. From the start, NLX’s ability to match every user ask with a fast and thorough response opened eyes within Comcast and caused internal enthusiasm to quickly accelerate. As co-founder and CEO Andrei Papancea put it at our SXSW panel last year: "It was mind blowing to see a company the size of Comcast being able to engage at the pace of a startup. We've worked with a number of large enterprises, but this has been rather unique.” Through LIFT Labs, teams across Comcast engaged with NLX directly and saw firsthand how scalable conversational AI could transform the way a company communicates. Comcast's HR team began using NLX's platform to give employees a 24/7 self-service chat option for benefits and HR inquiries. What began in LIFT Labs quickly grew into a broader partnership across Comcast, and Comcast Ventures invested in NLX's Series A shortly after. We're proud of what Andrei and the entire NLX team have built, and excited about where this next chapter takes them. We not only partnered with NLX as a customer, but were able to be a collaborator and an early-stage investor. This acquisition is a validation of their technology, their team, and their thesis: that conversational AI, done thoughtfully and at scale, creates real and lasting value for the companies that use it. Congratulations to the NLX team!
What if your enterprise could deploy AI-powered customer experiences in weeks, not months? https://go.aws/4d5ZlrB That's exactly what's now possible with Amazon Connect's acquisition of NLX: a no-code canvas that puts design control in the hands of your business teams, not your engineering backlog. United Airlines went live in three months instead of twelve. A global retailer deployed in six weeks instead of six months. This is the new baseline, and the question is whether you can afford to move any slower.

Exciting news for NLX 👏 NLX, a LIFT Labs portfolio company, has been acquired by Amazon Connect! NLX is helping redefine what modern customer experience looks like, combining voice, chat, and visual AI to deliver more natural, human-like interactions at scale. Their technology is already powering enterprise use cases that improve efficiency, reduce call volume, and elevate customer satisfaction. This milestone reflects a broader shift we’re seeing across the enterprise: AI isn’t just augmenting workflows, it’s transforming how brands engage with customers end-to-end. Proud to have supported NLX on this journey and excited to see what comes next as part of Amazon Web Services (AWS). #LIFTLabs #AI #CustomerExperience #ConversationalAI #Startups
