🔥 Big news from Shopify: native B2B features are now available to non-Plus Shopify merchants!
Historically, Shopify’s native wholesale features were locked behind the $2,300/month Plus plan. That is no longer the case, starting from April 2nd.
Shopify has just unlocked its native B2B toolset for Basic, Shopify, and Advanced plans.
Previously a $2,300/mo Plus exclusive, these features are now available to all merchants at no extra cost. Some notable features include custom price lists (Catalogs), company profiles, Net payment terms, and quantity rules.
For merchants, this update greatly reduces the barrier to entry for B2B selling. If you are a Shopify merchant who wants to scale your business to B2B customers, now is the best time to try it out!
While this is a great opportunity for testing, merchants should also be aware of the potential limitations:
⚠️ Catalog Caps: Non-Plus plans are limited to 3 catalogs. If you need unique pricing for dozens of different wholesalers, you still need Plus (unlimited).
⚠️ Location Mapping: You can’t assign specific catalogs to specific company locations as easily as you can on Plus.
⚠️ Advanced Logic: Features like partial payments, deposits, and headless B2B APIs remain locked behind the Plus tier.
Whether you're just starting out or looking to streamline your wholesale operations, this update makes enterprise-level tools accessible to businesses of every size.
