A one-stop shop to learn more about what’s going on in transportation electrification

About us

The Atlas EV Hub is an online platform to equip all stakeholders with actionable information on the EV market. The objective of EV Hub is to bring a data-driven approach to policymaking around transportation electrification and accelerate market growth. The EV Hub contains a wealth of data on the transportation electrification market, including vehicle registrations, infrastructure deployment, public policy, research, and media coverage. The site aggregates this information in easy-to-use dashboards to quickly find what you’re looking for. Since early 2017, Atlas has been working with NGOs, companies, and state and local public officials to create a one-stop shop for information on transportation electrification. The EV Hub is designed to save people time and allow organizations to more effectively allocate resources to work on advancing the market.

  • New analysis from Daniel Wilkins finds that Q4 2025 delivered one of the clearest stress tests yet for U.S. EV demand following the expiration of the federal purchase tax credit.   After a record-setting Q3, EV sales fell sharply in October and November before rebounding modestly in December—suggesting a classic pull‑forward dynamic ahead of the incentive sunset rather than a clean return to a new baseline. While overall Q4 sales were well below last year’s levels, December’s recovery offers early signals that demand has not disappeared entirely.   The data also highlights a narrowing group of high‑adoption states and the continued importance of affordable models like the Chevrolet Equinox EV in sustaining sales momentum.   Read more in our latest biweekly EV Hub Digest: https://lnkd.in/eyK8v6Qt

Atlas is excited to announce the release of the sixth annual "Transportation Electrification in the Southeast" report, in collaboration with the Southern Alliance for Clean Energy.   This year's report by Matthew Vining and Moe Khatib dives into progress made on transportation electrification goals from July 2024 through June 2025 by six states in the #Southeast: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee.   Amidst an evolving federal regulatory landscape, implementation of new tariff structures, and tax credit phase outs under the Inflation Reduction Act taking place in 2025, the Southeast continued to make progress on transportation electrification goals in manufacturing investments, new EV sales, and charging deployment. Highlights include: 📈 Continued massive growth in EV and battery manufacturing-related investments and jobs in the region, amassing nearly $80 billion in private sector investments (37% of the national total), and an anticipated 75,000 jobs created (33% of the national total).  🔋 New passenger EV sales rose 38% from last year and market share climbed to 8.3%, with Florida surpassing the national passenger EV market share average with a 12-month market share of 10.3%. ⚡ The addition of over 2,600 public fast chargers, a 41% increase year-over-year.
