IDS 2025 feels like yesterday, but it's already been a year(!) since our team was in Cologne. For those of you who were there, what stood out? A particular session, a demo moment or maybe an insight you took back to your practice? Reflecting on that week, even though we were over the moon to finally unveil TRIOS 6, it was about the conversations that followed. Dentists wanted to understand the substance behind the innovation. 🌟 How hyperspectral imaging translated to their daily work 🌟 How AI-assistive diagnostics with Dx Plus could support clinical decisions 🌟 Whether the DentalHealth app made sense for their patient communication approach Our team ran demos non-stop, answered questions and listened. Between the technical sessions and booth conversations, we took notes so we can make our products even better. The lecture seats were full every time, and the discussions that happened over coffee afterward were just as valuable. Launching innovation is one thing. Seeing how the dental community engages with it, challenges it and starts imagining how it fits into their workflows is something else entirely. We're already looking ahead to the next one. Innovation moves faster when research meets real-world technology.👩💻👨💻 Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming The Young Academy of Technology, Science and Innovation (YATSI) to #3Shape for their joint meeting.    Beyond exploring 3Shape technology, the day was about connecting research, education and innovation. Together with Kata Fonden, we discussed how to spark curiosity for #STEM among younger students. Two of our colleagues, Delfina Szorc and Alessia De Stefano, also joined the conversation, representing 3Shape’s Women in STEM initiative, which works with schools and communities to inspire more young students to explore STEM subjects.    As YATSI member, biotech entrepreneur and academic center leader Andreas Laustsen-Kiel put it after the visit:  💬 “Collaborations like this give young researchers insight into the innovation happening inside companies. On International Women’s Day, we asked four women at #3Shape a simple question: Who is your role model? ✨    Their answers couldn’t be more different.  A mother who pushed someone to grow beyond her limits.  A global golf legend breaking barriers.  A historic leader who championed women’s rights.  A Supreme Court justice known for preparation and principle. Role models don’t have to look like us, work in our field, or even live in the same time as us. But interestingly, when we asked these same women what advice they’d give the next generation, their answers sounded very similar: 💬 "Stay curious. Keep learning. Build strong relationships. And never stop growing."    Different role models.  But many of the same values. Maybe that’s the real power of role models. Sometimes leadership is just about showing up. Last week Łukasz Damuć, General Manager of 3Shape Audio, visited our Kyiv office – home to the Audio team driving global growth. It was his first visit since taking the helm in 2025, and the first HQ visit since the team moved into their new office last fall. The visit was about more than meetings. Łukasz spent time connecting with the team, discussing product strategy, and experiencing the city – from central landmarks to the Maidan memorial honouring fallen defenders and civilians. 💬“Visiting the team in Kyiv was an emotional experience.
