Private investment in Transmission projects is a critical market, addressing a significant development bottleneck in the African context. We have witnessed exciting and pioneering work by the likes of Gridworks Development Partners through out Africa, and it is exciting to follow the important progress made by the likes of Vicente Ripio-Bértolo and his team at Elecnor Group, through their subsidiary Celeo, has been selected as one of seven international-led, pre-qualified bidders for South Africa's inaugural Independent Transmission Project (ITP) program.
