The real problem for multi-step tool calling is about identity contract integrity across a stateful execution graph. When Tool B's decision logic depends on Tool A's output, and Tool C's auth scope depends on the runtime context established by A and B, you're not managing tokens; you're managing a trust chain through a non-atomic, partially durable state machine. The auth layer must be resilient to non-deterministic execution paths for an effective execution identity continuity: the guarantee that the same authorization principal, with the same delegated scopes, resolves consistently across every step of an agent loop. #Agent #Auth #AI

Why does a banking app need access to my SMS, phone, contacts, etc., in the name of security, when not seeking invasive device permissions is, in fact, the global benchmark for cybersecurity. This is called the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP). “Don't do unto others what you don't want done unto you” has been at the heart of the Zerodha philosophy. This is exactly why we've built Zerodha the way we have. Kite asks for ZERO permissions on mobile, for instance, and this is one of the big reasons why millions of people trust us. What has enabled us is SEBI's mandatory strong two-factor authentication framework strike the right balance between security and privacy.

This cake is the second cake she made. 24 hours before, she made the exact same cake. It takes about 6-8 hours to make. She left it in a cool (or so she thought!) spot in the house and came back before she went to bed. Disaster. It had all melted and was ruined. So she did what an epic mother would; stayed up, all through the night to remake the cake, to perfection. This to me summarises what our parents do for us. The stress, the anguish, the tireless work we never see so we have everything perfect on the day. The cake was perfect and as always she made my party incredible. Please please, call your mama today, no matter where she is in the world, tell her what she means to you. Nishant Choudhary liked thisNishant Choudhary liked thisThis isn’t new information. but seeing it in data feels different. we all know asia is the largest continent. we all know india and china are heavily populated. nothing surprising! but today i worked with the data myself. i was learning how to fetch data from an API, convert it into a pandas dataframe, and actually work through it. and when you calculate things on your own, the same “known facts” start looking different. asia isn’t just “most populated” → ~59% of the world lives there india + china aren’t just “high population countries” → ~35% of the entire world population and inside asia itself → ~60% of asia = just india + china → ~42% of asia = southern asia alone none of this is new. but building it, calculating it, seeing it inside your own dataframe — that changes how you understand it....... and this wasn’t the only thing. there were many small insights like this that only made sense once i explored the data myself. also turned this into my first kaggle notebook 🥹 if you want to explore all the insights, i’ve uploaded everything on kaggle - https://lnkd.in/g7ZdSXjh same facts. different lens. that’s what data does. what’s something basic that felt different once you saw it in data? 👀

I analyzed a dataset on teen smartphone usage to answer 2 simple questions: → Kya educational usage sach mein less harmful hai? → Kya zyada screen time = zyada anxiety? Nishant Choudhary liked thisNishant Choudhary liked this"Guys, I got a backlog in my first year." Yeah, that's a sentence I never thought I'd be writing. If someone had told me a few months ago that I'd end up with a backlog in my first year of engineering, I would've laughed and said, "Nah, not happening." Well... plot twist. My second semester exams started, and so did my villain arc. For almost two weeks, I was having fever on and off. The fever would come. Then disappear. Then come back again. Meanwhile, my parents had started their daily subscription service: "Go get a checkup." "Get tested." "Stop ignoring it." And honestly, they were right. But there was one tiny problem. I was scared of needles :) Imagine studying engineering, learning ML, surviving assignments, and then being absolutely terrified of a blood test. Peak performance. So while everyone was trying to figure out what was wrong, I was busy pretending everything was under control. Spoiler alert: Everything was not under control. On the day of my Mathematics exam, I was running a high-grade fever of 103.6°F. Standing up felt like a side quest. Writing a 3-hour exam felt like the final boss battle. A few tests later, the result came back: ........Typhoid....... Needless to say, I couldn't appear for the exam. And just like that, I got a backlog. The funny thing about a backlog is that nobody sees the story behind it. The marksheet won't say "Typhoid." It'll just say: "Backlog." And that's what makes it scary. Because someday, when companies look at my resume, they won't see the fever, the medical reports, or the diagnosis. They'll just see the backlog. Because let's be honest, some companies—especially MNCs—have eligibility criteria that require students to have no active or previous backlogs. So yes, I know this might create challenges for me in the future. I know there may be opportunities that become harder to access because of this. And honestly, that thought hurts. But what is done is done. Nd as students, we're constantly chasing internships, projects, skills, and the next opportunity. Somewhere in that race, we forget the one thing running the entire system: OUR HEALTH Honestly, I do take responsibility for this situation. Had I paid attention to my symptoms earlier, maybe things would've been different....... But regret doesn't clear backlogs. And unfortunately, neither does staring at the ceiling at 2 AM and replaying every life decision. To everyone reading this: Please don't wait until your body forces you to rest...... Because if you don't prioritize your health, life has a very interesting way of teaching the lesson. Mine came with Typhoid and a backlog. Not exactly the achievement I was planning to unlock in my first year. Anyway, second year awaits. Time to recover, clear the backlog, and maybe start listening to my parents for once. 💀

Nishant Choudhary liked thisNishant Choudhary liked thisWe keep hearing this is India's deep tech decade. I led 46 investments at a global fund, and I do not see it happening. I spent three years at Entrepreneurs First, leading our India practice and writing cheques to early-stage founders. Many of them were building in deep tech, especially in AI, before AI became a dinner table conversation. Voice AI clones in 2021. An Indian-built Suno equivalent that lets you generate your own music. Ideas on par with what we were funding out of London, Paris, or San Francisco. The talent was never the gap. So why are most of those founders today registered in Delaware, not Bangalore? Because deep tech in India runs into the same wall every time, and the wall is not made of founders. It is made of money and customers. → Deep tech needs roughly five years of work before it shows a single rupee. → Indian VC funds work on seven-to-ten-year LP timelines and need to return 4-5x to raise their next fund. Five years of zero signal is not a story they can tell their LPs. So the cheques are smaller and pulled toward categories that can show traction in 18 months. B2B SaaS. Consumer. Anything but the long arc. The customer side is just as broken. → Indian enterprises love a free POC. They almost never love a paid contract. → A deep tech founder ends up trapped in pilot purgatory, and then quietly redirects sales to American or European companies that will pay. At which point, why stay registered in India? The third missing piece is patient capital itself. → In other geographies, deep tech is carried by corporate venture arms, large government programs, and funds that can afford to take bolder, longer bets. → India does not really have any of these at scale yet. What is one piece of the Indian deep tech ecosystem you think will move first?
