"Just this past week, the Arizona Hydrological Society named Michael Tso as one of three 2013 AHS Scholars. Scholars are selected based on their academic excellence, personal achievements, and commitment to the field of hydrology and water resources.
All full-time students in the state of Arizona--sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students--studying in the field of hydrology and water resources at any accredited college or university were eligible to apply for this year's…"Just this past week, the Arizona Hydrological Society named Michael Tso as one of three 2013 AHS Scholars. Scholars are selected based on their academic excellence, personal achievements, and commitment to the field of hydrology and water resources.
All full-time students in the state of Arizona--sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students--studying in the field of hydrology and water resources at any accredited college or university were eligible to apply for this year's competition.
Michael is a Master's student studying hydraulic tomography to improve subsurface contaminant remediation reliability under the direction of HWR Professor Jim T.C. Yeh. Prior to joining the department, he completed a BS degree in geosystems engineering and hydrogeology from the University of Texas-Austin.
Michael will be presented with the Arizona Hydrological Society Scholar Award at the society's Annual Symposium, Shifting Boundaries: Recalibrating the Hydrologic Approach, to be held in Tucson from September 18-21, 2013. "
