“Meng and I work together in KLA-Tencor FaST division OCD Algorithm team. Meng takes in charge the algorithm development in the neural-network side of CD measurement solution, and I worked on the non-linear regression side of the solution. There has been much collaborations. Meng has been very resourceful in terms of new ideas to improve the solution and product, some of the important contributions he recently made include: -. A hybrid solution that automatically switch between neural-network solution and non-linear regression solution to improve measurement quality and performance. -. A probabilistic classifier to automatically detect user misplacement of measurement sample. This saves much time previously wasted by human mistakes. -. An automatic weighting on different measurement subsystems to improve result matching. Besides his technical strength, Meng is friendly, warm and helpful. Several times I discuss with him on the usage of some feature, he quickly recall a similar usage in his code or script, dig them out and send me the sample code. It has been very pleasant to work with him.”
