Chroneer Timeline Tools is an Adobe Illustrator plugin I created to make timeline visualization faster, cleaner, and more repeatable. I originally built it while working on a book project that required a better way to create clear chronological graphics inside Illustrator. Instead of rebuilding timelines manually each time, I turned the workflow into a reusable tool that others can use as well.

The plugin helps users generate timeline-based graphics directly in Illustrator through a control panel with adjustable settings such as orientation, date range, granularity, tick structure, labels, sizing, and styling. It supports centered placement on the active artboard, reusable character styles for labels, and configurable formatting for different timeline elements. The goal was to reduce repetitive setup work and make it easier to build polished, structured visuals for editorial, publishing, research, and presentation workflows.

This project included product design, UX, scripting, panel development, packaging, documentation, release preparation, and marketplace submission. It was also an opportunity to turn a personal production need into a public tool with a broader use case for designers and visual storytellers.

In this project, I was responsible for the design, architecture and the leading the technology stack, infra, development and deployment/implementation of the project,
This design was one of the most successful projects in the company, with a highly scalable, robust and resilient design, making the development of new and big features fast and very cost-efficient.

The project was developed with a multi DR back-up strategy ( with the technical possibility of a complete re-deployment to up to 8 other infra profiders on the cloud, only minutes after a disaster! )

The project architecture design comes with a built-in scalability ( by design and at no additional, infra or implementation/development cost or over-head! ), capable of scaling up and down from hundreds of thousands of requests per minute to none in no time ( not even seconds! )

The design comes with a built-in ( again by design and with no additional cost or over-head ) very high degree of failure tolerance of any of its internal or external dependencies.

The architecture profited from a very high secure ecosystem and was fully tested with industry standard pen-testing and fuzzing algorithms in addition to load testing of different components,

Another important feature of the design was the modularity of the architecture in a lego-like design, where different modules, depending on the environmental requirements could be plugged-in, modified or unplugged, staged, fully tested and deployed on the fly and in minutes!

My team was the first team in the company to leverage such design in this level and the huge success of the project was a good entry point for other teams who started adopting the same kind of design afterward.

The system was also completely decoupled using different IPC and queuing technologies. Show less

An small project to test out Amazon's Alexa platform, I published the project and it's available on Amazon market (for free)

After a few month of hard work with a multi-continental team on a multi-environmental project (Java, Spring, Python, Tornado/bottle, Angular (1!), React/redux, NginX, NodeJS, ...) we just released the new cloud platform AAS (code-name: Cloud-Integration)!

This was a joint project between Microsoft, CenturyLink, and ElasticBox! you can access/use the newly available service under Elastic-Box Azure provider section!
