Your API dependencies are slowing you down. Accelerate releases by mocking the APIs you depend on.
About us
WireMock Cloud optimizes developer productivity in an API dependent environment. By allowing developers to mock and virtualize APIs they depend on, WireMock empowers teams to reduce dependencies, thereby improving development productivity, facilitating parallel development, and accelerating time to market.

Are we headed towards a future of fully autonomous software? Code is becoming ephemeral and increasingly AI-generated – but that doesn't mean software engineering is disappearing with it. Watch this except from our latest webinar, or read the key takeaways on our blog https://lnkd.in/efpAEgqC

WireMock reposted this
Debug API response, fix mock, reload app, click, click...can get quite tedious. Luckily we can delegate that to AI + a couple of MCP servers... I’ve been building a mock of WireMock Cloud’s API, partly as a dogfooding exercise and partly as a base for prototyping some new API features. We already do this via proxying, but I wanted to see how well 100% mocked would work. I built an initial mock of the API using a specialised skill in Claude Code (which we will be releasing soon!), connected our UI app to it with a mock OAuth2 service, and it worked... up to the point that an API response containing ACL info returned minimal permissions, meaning the UI disabled the button I wanted to press. Rather than investigating it myself I asked Claude to figure out what the ACL response needed to be, fix the relevant API stubs then test the UI webapp via the Puppeteer MCP server to confirm the change was the one we required. Et voila! It figured it out first time, as you can see below 👇

Thrilled to have Justin McCarthy joining our live panel next week! Justin is Cofounder and CTO at StrongDM and has recently published some exciting stuff (which also made the front page of Hacker News) about the work his team is doing with self-validating AI agents, digital twins, and more. Looking forward to a great conversation! See the comments for links.

AI agents are powerful... but they can also make unpredictable mistakes. If you're letting them loose on your codebase (and most of us are), you'd better have some serious testing infrastructure in place. Number of environments your team manages: going up. 😓 Budget for those environments: not going up. 😒 Code being generated by AI agents: way, way up. 😬 Something has to give. Don't miss our upcoming panel with Docker's Michael Irwin, LocalStack CTO Waldemar Hummer, and WireMock CTO Tom Akehurst. Save your spot here: https://lnkd.in/eKJtJSz2

Want to run WireMock as a local mock server? WireMock Standalone (OSS) and WireMock Runner (Cloud) are your two options. Learn about when to choose which in our new blog: https://lnkd.in/e-Q2iPuB

Environment simulation is having a moment. As software becomes more decentralized and easier to deliver with AI, the need for stable test environments has become a top priority - and both enterprises and VCs are paying attention. Learn more about this trend, its implications, and how WireMock fits into this emerging stack (alongside companies like LocalStack and Antithesis) in a new blog post by CEO Uri Maoz: https://lnkd.in/euxdCjaf
