👋 Say Hi to Sharvin Shah, our CEO at MTechZilla. As a kid, Sharvin didn’t dream of being a CEO. He just loved computer games. But somewhere between playing and tweaking game files, he discovered a deeper curiosity: how software actually works. That spark led him into Computer Engineering. But academic theory didn’t excite him. His real education began when a friend introduced him to web development. It was messy, unstructured - but deeply satisfying. Long before ChatGPT, he learned the hard way - through trial, error, and relentlessly going through Stack Overflow answers. A pivotal moment changed everything: a tech conference in #germany. He saw how industrial software powers critical systems. The complexity. The impact. That’s when he knew he didn’t just want to build apps - he wanted to solve real problems at scale. Despite good GitHub projects, poor academics kept him out of campus placements. Still, he didn’t quit. He landed his first job at a home automation startup through sheer persistence. That was his wake-up call: production-grade code is very different from side projects. It’s also where mentorship shaped his engineering mindset - thinking in systems and building for scale. Later, Sharvin planned to pursue an MS abroad to explore global #b2bsoftware but #covid changed everything. Instead, he joined a Malaysian company remotely and helped bridge their hiring gap by building a remote engineering team. That’s when he realised - if he could do it once, he could do it again. MTechZilla was born. His other client came from an article he wrote on modernising a legacy app using #reactjs. That project led to more referrals and global clients. Today, MTechZilla helps startups modernise their tech and scale affordably with high-quality remote teams. What Sharvin Learned Along the Way: 1. Being a CEO means wearing many hats - but knowing which to hand off 2. Balance client happiness with team well-being 3. Don’t fake it - trust and honesty go a long way 4. Upskilling is non-negotiable 5. Small breaks are important 6. Failure is where most breakthroughs begin His Advice to Aspiring Founders and Developers: 1. Don’t wait for permission. Or perfection. Start where you are. 2. Your GitHub profile matters more than your GPA. Learn by doing. Share your progress. Find mentors. Write things down. Stay open to feedback. 3. And remember - a setback isn’t a signal to quit. It’s a signal to recalibrate. Today, Sharvin leads MTechZilla with a small, sharp, committed team. They’re not chasing hype. They’re building honest software solutions - modernising systems, empowering teams, and solving meaningful problems.
