We’re genuinely thrilled to have powered #Engage2026! 🎉 At Rank, we strongly believe in the power of communities coming together to create impact, share ideas, and build experiences that matter. Supporting events like this is exactly why we show up, to enable meaningful moments and celebrate the energy that only happens when people unite around a common purpose. 🧡 Seeing the event come to life and achieve such incredible results is truly exciting. Kudos to everyone who made it happen especially the convener Yetunde Olatunbosun it’s inspiring to witness what happens when communities thrive! 👏
The one where I can finally say WE DID IT! Welcome to #Engage2026: The Recap Series #1 Let’s talk about what happened beyond the room. Let’s talk numbers from the perspective of a data driven social media marketer who convened this event. On April 4th, 2026, Engage 2026 held at Molebi Event Center, Jibowu, Yaba. Like every marketing-led event, we had clear goals as to impressions, reach and visibility. I did the usual pep talk with my team. Let’s hit our goals, let’s cook and give people the event of a lifetime. But what we didn’t see coming was having an highlight on X that stayed up for over 36 hours. That part still feels unreal and yes, I’m freaking out! If you’ve ever worked on a campaign, you know the usual conversation: “How do we trend?” “Who do we pay to push this?” We know the lengths people go through just to get on the trends table. Right before our host Shalom Adebola went on stage, all I remember was saying, “Please don’t forget to mention our official tags.” By 12pm, we were already trending. By 12:55pm, the algorithm picked it up, highlighted and amplified as seen in pictures 1&2. I also loved the powered by Rank (Formerly Moni) part in the conversations 👌😌 All this happened organically and because we had the right people in the room, people who live and breathe social media; creating and sharing content wasn’t a prompt, it was instinct. As the event unfolded, the highlight evolved with the conversations via keywords and tags: * By 7pm: Engage 2026 draws social media pros to Lagos for insights and style. Btw our outfit video dropped and everyone showed up and showed out 🔥 * By 9pm: Engage 2026 draws crowds for digital creator insights in Lagos * By Sunday, 4pm (24 hours after the event ended): #Engage2026 Summit energizes Lagos social media experts with posts volume at 3,000. On Instagram, we crossed 100+ posts under our tag. Across meta & X platforms, we hit over 62,000 in media reach. And all I can think is we did this together. I know what results like this typically cost for a digital campaign across Meta & X. But we didn’t pay for it. We built for it and for that, I’m deeply grateful. To everyone who believed in the vision, showed up, posted, spoke, and amplified, thank you!! In my opening remarks, I said let’s make April 4th, 2026 count and we did 🥹💜 Thank you once again to our sponsors Rank (Formerly Moni) EventPark Africa ViviFiy Vynt and media partners African Tech Journal and the97thstreet.
