  • What does meaningful advocacy actually look like for neurodivergent employees? It starts with trust. In our newest episode of Rethink Time, Samantha Kelly discusses a common mistake leaders make: talking about an employee's challenges instead of advocating for the support they need. Listen to the latest episode of Rethink Time for more insights on building workplaces that work for everyone. https://lnkd.in/eV7SM_QS

  • Neurodiversity in the workplace is often misunderstood. What looks like procrastination, missed deadlines, or lack of focus on the outside can actually be overwhelm, task paralysis, time blindness, or cognitive overload happening internally. In the newest episode of Rethink Time, Samantha Kelly from Beyond Neurodiversity shares practical insights into what neurodiversity can actually look like at work—and how small changes in communication, structure, and support can make a meaningful difference for neurodivergent employees. One of the biggest takeaways from the conversation: There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to productivity or support. When workplaces create systems that support different ways of thinking, everyone benefits. Watch the new episode: https://lnkd.in/eV7SM_QS

  • Are screens quietly shaping how children focus, regulate emotions, and connect? It’s a question more families—and educators—are asking in real time. In the latest episode of Rethink Time, we sit down with Kerry Brown from Beech Acres Parenting Center to explore what’s actually happening in a child’s brain in today’s digital world. From toddlers on tablets to teens who can’t sit through a whole movie, this conversation goes beyond surface-level advice. It gets to the why behind screen habits, and what to do about them in a way that reduces conflict, not adds to it. If you’re navigating screen time at home, in the classroom, or in your practice, this episode offers both clarity and actionable next steps. Struggling to make time feel manageable? You’re not alone. That’s why we created Rethink Time, a podcast about practical ways to experience and teach time differently. It is only fitting that our first guest be Time Timer inventor and founder, Jan Rogers. Jan shares the story of her very first visual timer, built from paper plates! Learn how this simple idea became a tool that helps millions bring clarity and focus to their day. Practical tips, real-life stories, and inspiration await. Ways to listen and watch in the comments.

  • We are excited to share that out of more than 3,000 products reviewed last year by The New York Times Wirecutter, Time Timer was selected as one of just 71 favorites. For us, this recognition reinforces something we’ve always believed: When people can see time, they can use it more confidently. From classrooms to clinics to workplaces, visual timers support focus, ease transitions, and make time more accessible, especially for those with ADHD or executive functioning challenges. We're excited to announce that Time Timer® MAX is Calm Tech Certified™! We often assume that digital solutions are more flexible or powerful than analog alternatives. But truly thoughtful technology asks: What's the simplest, most appropriate tool for this specific context? For shared spaces where groups need coordinated time awareness, Time Timer® MAX is a well-designed physical tool that everyone can see and understand instantly. It requires no complex setup, Wi-Fi connection or account creation. It includes a stand so it can work on a floor or table, or it can be hung on a wall. Between the simple mechanical movement and the universal language of a disappearing red disk, it just works. Time Timer® MAX is the largest visual countdown timer available anywhere. At 17 inches, it's designed for gymnasiums, cafeterias, auditoriums, large meeting rooms, and co-working spaces where groups need to coordinate around time without constant verbal reminders or digital notifications. This is the second Time Timer product we've certified! For personal use, we highly recommend Time Timer Home MOD! Congratulations, Time Timer! Facilitation tip: Have a plan AND be flexible. We always have a plan (with many options for creative activities ) and our most important job isn't to stick to that plan, but to read the room, with their outcomes in mind, and adjust as needed. Our tools: We love the time timer. It's a visual timer - when the red is gone the time is up - that acts as a visual cue to keep us and the team on track. When they can "see time", they help self correct - going faster to finish an activity or slowing down and going deeper when time allows. Also pictured - a rough agenda with activity blocks, our trusty Ah Ha! sharpie, a chime to call the group back together and white, low tack artist tape (less distracting than blue tape and won't harm paint on walls) to make the group's thinking visible on big paper. What's your facilitation approach - time boxing or go with the flow? There's advantages to both for sure. #facilitation #leadership #innovation #research #insights #ahha! #facilitativeleadership

  • Time Timer is proud to sponsor the School Support That Sticks Summit, happening October 27–30! Created by parent coach and Reframe Parenting founder Scotti Weintraub, this free 4-day online event is designed to help parents of kids who color outside the lines understand what’s really going on, and find lasting support. During the summit, we hosted a Highlighter Session featuring our Co-President, Heather L. Rogers, alongside three other experts. Together, they shared real-life examples and practical strategies to help children better understand and manage time, both in the classroom and at home.
