Hi, we're the first TeamOS for the Agentic Age 🚀

About us

What core problem does teamdecoder aim to solve for organisations? teamdecoder addresses the pervasive issue of teams struggling with constant change, particularly the shift towards hybrid human-AI collaboration. The core problem is that existing methods for defining roles and responsibilities (such as static org charts, Miro boards, or job descriptions) are insufficient. They are often out of date, incomplete, or ignored, leading to widespread chaos, increased stress, and a significant failure to execute strategic initiatives effectively. What are the key features of the teamdecoder SaaS platform? The teamdecoder SaaS platform offers a suite of tools designed to manage team clarity and change. Key features include a Role Dashboard for visualising responsibilities, an FTE Workload Planner for managing capacity, and Alignment Workflows to guide teams through reorganisation. It also includes a Purpose Tree for clarifying team objectives, a Compare Mode for analysis, and Wellbeing Surveys to track team health. The Hybrid Team Planner supports the design of new collaboration models, and the Campfire Process provides a recurring ritual for clarity maintenance. Additionally, teamdecoder offers Enterprise Onboarding and a Consultant Kickback Program. Who are teamdecoder's ideal customers and how is the product typically onboarded? teamdecoder targets two primary customer segments: Organisational Development Consultants who support multiple teams undergoing change, and Team Leads managing groups of 8 to 50 people who regularly face restructuring pressure. Onboarding varies depending on the customer type: self-serve users benefit from guided in-app onboarding, consultants receive personal training directly from CEO Kai, and enterprise clients undergo workshop-led onboarding before transitioning to an internal administrator. Support is available via teamdecoder.tawk.help.

Updates

  • Hi, I'm excited to share this biiig news wit you today: As teams transition into the Agentic Age, the line between "what we do" and "what we are capable of" is becoming the new competitive edge. To help you manage this, we are introducing a major logic update to the teamdecoder framework: The Real Skills List. Why this matters for your team: Until now, we treated skills and roles similarly. But in a high-performance hybrid team, they are distinct: 👉 Skills (The new Orange List 🍊): These are the individual "superpowers" your players possess (e.g., Python Coding, Strategic Negotiation or Photoshop). 👉 Roles: these are the functional "hats" people wear to deliver value. The result? You can now see exactly which players are qualified for specific roles and, more importantly, identify the skill gaps holding your strategy back. What is changing in your Dashboard: (1) A New Orange List 🍊: You’ll see the "Skills" list appear, as shown in the image on top of this email. Use it to define capabilities and assign them to your players. (2) Roles Evolution: To keep your existing data safe, your previous "Skills" list is now Roles 1, and your "Roles" list is Roles 2. Any existing re-naming you did to personalize your lists, will stay as is. (3) Total Control: If your team isn’t ready for this level of depth yet, simply click the three dots (⋮) and select "Hide List" to keep your view lightweight. Need a deep dive? This update is a foundation for our AI Matchmaker, which suggests the best player for any role based on their skill set. We’ve prepared a guide to help you transition your team to this new capability-based model: 👉 Read the Knowledge Base Article https://lnkd.in/dKKsmt9m Orange is the new yellow: 🍊🍊🍊 Kai Founder, teamdecoder

  • just entered The Delta Campus in Berlin to participate in a #GrowthHacking masterclass. Follow me in how this is going to make teamdecoder the #1 TeamOS for the agentic age ;) Btw: I'm currently working on the storyline, here is a preview, what do you think? WIP: The most pressing transformations depend on strong organisation design! - Operationalize New strategies - Manage constant change - And most of all: Integrate AI in then hybrid human/AI teams, because crucial for the future and most companies are struggling. BCG says 74% do not achieve the value they expected and McKinsey says it's because of the bad agent integration, it's just “bolted on” instead of being properly integrated as team member. We want to be the TeamOS for the agentic age, a governance platform that manages and develops profiles for humans and AI, and that helps avoiding agent chaos. Built around performance, resilience and wellbeing.

+50% Produktivität, weil jeder in seiner Stärke arbeitet. #teamdecoder #OrgDesign #Rollenklarheit #FutureOfWork #HybridTeams #Leadership

  • Most teams don’t fail because they lack talent. They fail because of the **“Illusion of Stillness.”** 🛑 We think a team is “finished” once the roles are assigned. But teams are living organisms—not static charts. A team lifecycle isn’t a straight line; it’s a series of shocks. And every phase has a trap: In **Hyper-growth**, coordination starts eating your creativity. A **Leadership change** is a total system reset. And a **Strategy shift** fails if you don’t change the “How” along with the “What.” 📉📈 Resilience isn’t an accident. It’s proactive management. **Role clarity** is the only real antidote to burnout and chaos. Where is your team right now? **Growth, Reset, or Pivot?** Let me know in the comments! 👇

  • How do you build a team? Most people just draw an org chart in PowerPoint, get it approved, and start working. But here is the truth: static structures are outdated. A team structure needs to evolve constantly. Why? Because priorities shift. Strategies change. People leave, and new talent joins. Most leaders see these changes, but they don’t realize how deeply they impact the team’s foundation. If you don't maintain total clarity on roles and responsibilities, efficiency drops—and burnout rises. In fact, research shows that role transparency is the key to resilience and high performance. Studies even prove it can decrease burnout rates by as much as 40%. So, here is my recommendation: Hold a "Campfire Meeting" every two weeks. Use this time to discuss the evolution of roles and reshuffle workloads based on your current priorities. Keep your roles transparent, keep your team resilient, and keep your performance up.

👇 #teamdecoder #Leadership #Innovation #Ambidextrie #KI #WayOfWorking #BusinessSpagat
