  • How do you teach empathy, responsibility, and the real impact of rising hate? You let students step into the story. The Civics Holocaust Authorship Program helps students connect deeply with survivor testimonies - not as distant history, but as a human warning of what happens when intolerance grows unchecked. From there, something powerful happens: Students write their own civics-themed books, expressing their understanding in their own voice. These student-authored books spark meaningful conversations about tolerance, civic responsibility, and the dangers of hate. It’s learning that doesn’t just inform  it shapes who they choose to become. And we’re proud to be part of this initiative. It’s not every day you get to contribute to something with such deep meaning and impact. You can also watch a short video that explains the program in English and shows the impact it creates: https://lnkd.in/dECNgxeh #sliceknowledge #Education #CivicsEducation #HolocaustEducation #EmpathyBuilding #StudentVoice #LearningImpact #CivicResponsibility #Tolerance #HumanRights #EdTech #InnovativeLearning #SocialImpact

  • Research and learning always move together. Here are the key ideas we drew from Bersin’s article and how we bring them to life at Slice. 1. Learning isn’t an event. It’s an environment. Real learning happens in the flow of work through conversations, decisions, and small daily wins. Slice: We turn everyday knowledge into AI guidance that appears exactly when people need it. 2. Knowledge should move, not sit still. Static PDFs don’t build capability. Living knowledge does. Slice: Your policies and expertise become dynamic learning experiences that update themselves. 3. Managers are the learning engine. Great organizations grow because managers coach and create clarity. Slice: We give managers instant tools to support their teams without needing to become trainers. 4. Culture beats content. Companies win when learning becomes part of their DNA. Slice: Private AI grows with your organization and helps every employee improve every day. This is what we took from Bersin and what we’re building into Slice. Not more courses. Not another LMS. A living learning system built around how people actually work. If you want to read the original article: 👉 https://lnkd.in/dhmPviP9

  • 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 Yesterday marked the launch of Slice's AI-powered personal assistants for role holders at Perach - Israel's national mentoring association. For context: Perach connects approximately 20,000 university students with children needing academic and emotional support. Students receive scholarships in return. It's the world's largest mentoring project of its kind, inspiring similar initiatives globally. What makes this implementation unique from a learning perspective? Instead of creating another isolated learning system, we developed an integrated solution that combines: Real-time information access - Relevant knowledge available exactly when needed Embedded performance support - Guidance integrated directly into daily workflows Personalized assistance - Tailored support for every role, from leadership to field mentors This exemplifies what I call "learning as a business enabler" - technology that doesn't just transfer knowledge, but actively improves performance and drives real outcomes. The pedagogical insight here is crucial: Effective learning happens not in isolated training sessions, but when support is contextual, timely, and seamlessly integrated into the work itself. When learning technology serves a social mission like Perach's, the impact multiplies - better-supported staff means better outcomes for thousands of children across Israel. Proud to be part of this meaningful work! #LearningAndDevelopment #PerformanceSupport #SocialImpact #AIInLearning #BusinessEnablement #Pedagogy Slice Knowledge LearnIN. • A short video about cognitive load - and we're mentioned in it! In his latest video on the Educraft channel, Theodosis addresses cognitive load and its impact on organizational learning. When we overload with too much information, we impair processing and retention abilities. Our company, Slice Knowledge, is mentioned regarding personalization and adapting tools for effective learning. The video highlights several important principles for reducing cognitive load in learning: • Keep only the essential information - filter out distracting content that diverts attention • Limit on-screen text - avoid large blocks of text that make information processing difficult • Incorporate meaningful visuals - use relevant images and illustrations that support understanding • Break down content into smaller chunks - present information gradually rather than all at once • Use clear headings - organize information in a hierarchical and accessible way • Use simple language - avoid unnecessary technical jargon when possible • Make learners practice - allow learners to apply information in real-time • Use consistent design - reduce cognitive effort needed for navigation • Present information logically - build a learning sequence that supports gradual understanding These principles are vital not only for user experience design but also for building effective learning processes in organizations. I recommend following this channel for anyone interested in user experience and learning experience from a professional and in-depth perspective. #OrganizationalLearning #CognitiveLoad #LearningDesign #UserExperience https://lnkd.in/deUUkfbA

  • Slice Knowledge heading to Singapore: Exploring Learning Innovation Next week I'll be joining a business delegation to Singapore, a global leader in education innovation and organizational learning. My focus during this visit will be examining how Singaporean organizations implement true personalization in their learning ecosystems. Beyond content adaptation, I'm interested in how they develop holistic learning journeys that consider the professional's complete context. Singapore's successful integration of tradition with cutting-edge technology provides an ideal environment to observe knowledge management practices that transform information into strategic business assets. We're expanding our business activities in Singapore, with the primary goal of meeting and fostering connections between Israeli and Singaporean businesses. This initiative represents a strategic opportunity to extend the impact of Israeli innovation in organizational learning across Asia and strengthen bilateral business relationships. Open to connecting with professionals in Singapore's learning technology space during my visit. #OrganizationalLearning #KnowledgeManagement #Singapore #PersonalizedLearning
