Aukera Energy was 6 months into construction on Westhouse — a 63 MW solar project — when Sitemark flagged a problem. Pile height deviations. Spotted during a routine drone flight. The deviations ran north to south across the site, on course to clash with the perimeter fence and road if left uncorrected. Before Sitemark, Aukera’s technical advisor visited the site every two weeks. Two weeks is a long time for a deviation to grow. This one was caught in days. "The platform paid for itself in one case." The numbers: 👉 Rectification time with early detection: 2–3 weeks 👉 Rectification time if caught at the next scheduled site visit: 3–4 months 👉 Direct cost savings on pile work alone: £50,000–£100,000 👉 Lost generation revenue from a 3–4 month delay on a 63 MW project: substantial From 'nice to have' to 'must have' in one project. #SolarConstruction #RenewableEnergy #CustomerStory #SolarEnergy #EPC

"If you want to save time and money, it's better if you have the Sitemark platform." That's Bruno Loch Stopassolli from Aukera Energy — sharing his experience after using Sitemark. Instead of travelling to site to chase down issues, their team now logs into the platform, sees exactly what's happening, and raises a ticket if something needs attention — all without leaving the office. Less time on the ground. Faster issue resolution. And a site manager who can focus on what actually matters. This is what centralised site monitoring looks like in practice. 📖 Read the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/ebPwqhrg #SolarOM #AssetManagement #SolarEPC

We're in San Diego for Solar Plaza 2026 and the team is ready. 🌞 Sam Brennan, Jonathan "J.T." Werth, Matthew Sherwood, and Stanislas Van Der Vaeren are all here this week. If you're attending, come find us. And this afternoon, Stan takes the stage for a panel we think is one of the most pressing conversations in solar right now: 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗺: 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗖𝗔𝗧 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. Hailstorms, hurricanes, wildfires NATCAT events are becoming a defining risk for solar asset owners across North America. Stan will be bringing Sitemark's perspective on what happens in the field: how drone-based aerial inspections cut through the chaos after a storm, document damage fast, and give asset owners what they need to make insurance claims stick. Come for the panel. Stay for the conversation after. 👋 #AMNA2026 #Sitemark #SolarAssetManagement

Pile height is one of the biggest headaches in solar construction, and not many talk about it. Every EPC knows this problem: You drive the piles into the ground, try to attach the structure, but if it doesn’t align, you can’t attach it, and suddenly everything is off. Even small height deviations can cause significant issues down the line: rework, misalignment, structural stress, or even shading and tilt errors. Checking each one manually is slow, costly, and error-prone. That’s why at Sitemark we are seeing great results with drone-based pile height detection. Using photogrammetry, a drone can capture every pile in one flight and reconstruct a 3D model of the site. From that model, you can determine the top and bottom of each pile and compare it with design elevation, flagging those that deviate beyond tolerance (e.g. > 5 cm). Why this matters 👇 ✔️ Early detection prevents rework, misalignment, and shading losses. ✔️ You can focus only on the piles that actually need fixing. ✔️ On large projects, one flight can replace thousands of manual checks. Smarter construction monitoring could save solar projects time, labor, and unnecessary stress before a single module is even installed. Have you dealt with pile height issues on your sites? How are you checking alignment today? #SolarConstruction #PileInstallation #DroneInspection

You can’t fix what you can’t see. Across the industry, we’re seeing a quiet trend: modules are getting larger, thinner, and more fragile. That thinner glass and lighter frame design help lower costs, but they also make modules more prone to fine cracks and delamination that don’t show up in your SCADA data (until it’s too late). These cracks often start small, pressure from mounting brackets, thermal stress, even transport vibration. Over time, they spread, reduce insulation, and eat into your yield. You can’t reliably spot them from the ground. That’s why UHD drone inspections are becoming an essential O&M tool. With ultra-high-resolution RGB imagery, you can: 👉 Detect hairline cracks and glass damage early 👉 Pinpoint exact module locations for repair 👉 Keep your team out of high-risk areas In short: see the invisible, act faster, and protect your asset’s lifetime output. How often do you include visual UHD scans in your maintenance cycle? Curious what UHD inspections could uncover at your site? Get in touch with our team and let's take a look. #SolarO&M #DroneInspection #SolarAssetManagement

Field work is hard enough without the tools making it harder. That's why the Sitemark FieldLink mobile app was built for the technician on site. Here is what it does on a typical site visit: 👉 Arrive on site → open the app → see your assigned tickets, GPS-pinpointed on the site map 👉Scan a module serial number directly from the camera — no manual logging 👉Add photos, notes, and status updates on the spot 👉Work offline in areas with no signal — everything syncs automatically when you are back online 👉Asset manager sees the closed ticket in real time from their desk When the work order closes on site, the admin sees it instantly. Simple for the technician. Full visibility for the team. #SolarOM #SolarEnergy #FieldOperations #ProductUpdate

Spain is one of Europe's most active solar markets, and the pressure on O&M and asset management to keep pace is real. Yesterday at Energyear España 2026 in Madrid, our account manager Isabel Pérez Sollet joined fellow industry leaders on stage to unpack what that really means for operators today. 👏 Marta Luis Agustín Antonio #EnergyearEspaña #SolarOM #RenewableEnergy
