The Future is Hybrid Experiment 2: “Physically” pull back a tiny zombie in my hand like a wind-up toy, then release it to run across a real surface. Workflow: Simulon - Start/end states + shoot the running sequence (real-time, in-camera). NanoBanana - create the “in-hand” interaction frame. KlingAI - generate the hand interaction (holding the zombie, pulling back, placing it down). DaVinci Resolve - smooth the transition (shake/retime/color). Hybrid: used Simulon to lock placement/scale/lighting + start/end frames, then use Google DeepMind Veo to generate the interaction between them. Another comparison video of the Original backplate/Maya viewport anim vs the final render done using Simulon and some post production done using Blender. For those who don't know, You can create a fully functional Blender scene using the data captured by Simulon which includes the Tracking, Lighting, Scanned mesh etc and re render the scene using Cloud or locally on your system after making desired changes. Super happy to share this sequence I animated a while back for the launch video of Simulon Animation was done in Maya and Tracking, Lighting, Rendering etc was done using Simulon itself. This was the first time I used Ragdoll Dynamics plugin in a proper shot. The raptor was simulated using Ragdoll Dynamics along with some manual adjustments when the Trex bites him and throws him on the ground. Will post a breakdown very soon.
