Exciting things are happening at ShiftKey Labs this Summer! :D I'm thrilled to be helping organize 'Hack the Elements', a research-driven elemental-themed hackathon taking place May 22nd to May 24th at Dalhousie University (Rowe & Mona Campbell Buildings) If you're looking for a challenge that goes BEYOND a typical hackathon, this one is for you. Projects are grounded in real research problems, so what you build actually means something, and plus, there are prizes up for grabs too! Whether you're looking to push your technical or research skills, build something meaningful for your portfolio, network with mentors and people in the industry, or just see what you're capable of, I'd love to see you there :) Registration is open NOW! Come alone, or with friends and build something that could just change the future. ✨ Register here: https://lnkd.in/ea-85854

  • In honor of Earth Day last week, we’re giving a small preview into ShiftKey’s upcoming hackathon in May! Instead of jumping to solutions, we want you to start by looking closer at existing problems. For this weeks mini-challenge the problem we want you to identify is related to the earth element! Let us know the problem you identified in the comments below or your take on the Earth element! 🌎 Want to register for the hackathon? Click here! https://lnkd.in/ea-85854
