The rain stayed away Wednesday for Midtown Law's Summer Kickoff benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle. Everyone had a blast! Thanks to Midtown Law for leading a tremendous food and supply drive, and thanks to DASH Carolina for raising funds to support our programs! Yesterday was not only Red Shoes Day Tuesday but it was also Mattress Day at RMH! For many years, Tempur-Pedic has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Triangle to provide comfort and rest to the families staying in Ronald McDonald House locations across the U.S. Mattress Day is a labor of love (and muscles!) Several faithful volunteers, including a team from our friends at Danis, our #RedShoeCrew and Ronald McDonald House staff members assembled this morning to unload the delivery truck, then moved on to distributing new mattresses and switching out the old ones throughout both the Durham and Chapel Hill Houses. Thank you to our volunteers and Tempur Pedic Mattress Gallery for helping families feel comfortable and at home while they stay close to their hospitalized child.
