Gifting in sales is an incredible strategy.
And this one?! NAILED it.
(Kudos, Nick Natale!)
If you think gifting starts and ends at generic gift cards or DoorDash credits for a meal over a lunch meeting, you’re doing it wrong.
Gifting strategies work best, in my experience, when you:
🎁 bake them into different parts of your sales cycle, and beyond!
🎁 don’t forget customers; sending a swag box with your company’s logo all over it doesn’t really do anything for people. Personalize these gifts, what will they most love?
🎁 doesn’t just have to be branded company stuff, but any gift that you send can creatively tie back to your company while still being personalized and useful for the person you sent it to. they can share it on their socials, and it can boost engagement for your brand!
And the thing is, this gift was super sweet and highly personalized to things that I love (Stardew Valley, AND cooking!) — but the reason I’m taking the call with the rep who sent it to me isn’t just because of this sweet personal touch.
There’s genuine value in this offering, and I feel it’s relevant for me to discuss right now.
this rep did a great job of breaking through my noisy inbox, with some awesome direct mail. It got my attention, and I’m looking forward to chatting with this person!
So thanks again, Nick! Looking forward to our call Friday.
