Repsense joins the DE-CONSPIRATOR Network of Interest 🛡️ We're excited to announce that Repsense has joined the Network of Interest of DE-CONSPIRATOR - a research project dedicated to detecting and countering Foreign Information Manipulation and Interference (FIMI). DE-CONSPIRATOR brings together a multidisciplinary team of experts across Europe to investigate how foreign actors - particularly Russia and China - design and execute disinformation campaigns to manipulate public opinion and destabilise democratic institutions. The project maps FIMI networks, develops innovative detection tools, and builds stronger defences for individuals, communities, and institutions across the EU and beyond. Narrative intelligence is exactly what's needed to fight back. We're proud to contribute to this mission alongside some of Europe's leading researchers, policymakers, and civil society experts.

Už šiltą priėmimą - ISM University of Management and Economics. Daugiau apie šių metų tyrimo rezultatus: https://lnkd.in/gWuvqDGr

Liudvikas took Repsense to Cornell University. 🎓 The topic – how narrative intelligence is changing brand monitoring. The metrics we're used to tracking aren't enough anymore. A story about your brand surfaces on TikTok, in the news, on a Senate floor speech, on Reddit, and in a podcast – it should show up as one narrative, not five disconnected mentions. That's what Repsense does with vector analysis. Thanks Prof. Jura Liaukonyte for having us.
Keyword monitoring is dead, and the math for what replaces it is surprisingly simple. A narrative — say, "housing affordability is out of control" — produces the same embedding vector whether it lands as a TikTok rant, a Senate floor speech, a Bloomberg column, a Reddit thread, or a podcast clip. Cosine similarity ~0.94 across all five. You stop matching strings and start matching meaning, and one story that surfaced 847 times across every format on earth shows up as one story, not 847 disconnected mentions. This matters because 30–40% of brand appearances are now visual-only — no text anywhere — and short-form video is the dominant format across at least five platforms with feature parity. If your monitoring can't see and hear, it isn't monitoring. It's counting hashtags with a rear-view mirror. Which brings me to the channel where this hurts most: the creator economy. $33 billion a year, 86% of US marketers active, and the entire industry runs on two division operations — reach over followers, and engagement over reach. That's the toolkit. Programmatic display has real-time bidding, attribution, viewability, brand safety scoring. Influencer marketing has follower counts. It is the most data-poor major marketing channel that exists, by a distance. I made this argument yesterday to an Ivy League audience - Prof. Jura Liaukonyte's class at Cornell University, on the work we're doing at Repsense. Thank you, Jura, for the invitation and the sharp questions from the room, especially from Dr. Matthew McGranaghan. Good reminder that this work travels: the lecture hall was in Ithaca, the engineering is in Vilnius. If you're thinking about how to measure influencers or narratives properly, and any of this lands, hit me up. Happy to share the deck.

Lietuvoje gimsta naujas formatas. Gegužės 17 d. Klaipėdoje vyks pirmieji turinio kūrėjų apdovanojimai „Patinka“, kuriuos pristato M.A.M.A, TV3 Group Lithuania ir Fabula Rud Pedersen Lithuania.

💥 We presented one of the most extensive studies our team has conducted in recent years – an analysis of disinformation in Lithuania’s public information space over the past six months. The research was commissioned by the Lithuanian Radio and Television Commission (LRTK). 🔷 The study is based on large-scale data. Repsense technologies allow us to monitor the entire publicly available information space – from social media platforms to regional media – analyzing text, video content, and their dissemination. As a result, the findings are not based on isolated examples or expert opinion alone, but on systematically processed data that provides a comprehensive view of the information environment. 🔷 The research was also complemented by a public opinion survey that helps better understand not only the supply of disinformation in the information space, but also its impact on public attitudes. This type of “supply and demand” analysis is increasingly being discussed and applied across Europe. 🔷 One of the key findings is that professional journalism in Lithuania remains highly resilient: the study found virtually no disinformation or propaganda within the country’s mainstream media. This is an important and positive signal about the strength of the professional media ecosystem. 🔷 At the same time, a growing share of the information environment is shifting to social media platforms, where coordinated influence campaigns are more active. The analysis shows that such campaigns often operate as a multi-layered system – from opinion leaders and public figures whose content is artificially amplified, to networks of fake accounts, coordinated groups, and automated bot networks that simulate public engagement. 🔷 It is also important to clearly distinguish political criticism from hostile propaganda. In a democratic society, differing opinions are normal and necessary. The real concern arises when manipulative narratives are deliberately spread, coordinated networks are used, or artificial signals of public support are created. 🔷 We are grateful to the LRTK team for their trust and for the opportunity to contribute to a deeper understanding of Lithuania’s information environment. Research of this kind helps identify risks and strengthen societal resilience to disinformation.
