  • Peak Mojo is becoming Care Mojo. We changed our name to Care Mojo to better reflect our mission and the people we serve: helping caregivers provide better care for people living with dementia and cognitive decline. Over the past few months, our team has spent time inside care facilities and with families, caregivers, operators, and care professionals. We saw how hard caregivers work every day, how much families want more visibility into care, and how better data can support personalized care, caregiver training, and compliance documentation. That learning shaped our next chapter. Our team brings experience across AI, healthcare technology, dementia research, and product development. More importantly, we are united by a shared commitment to support the people who provide care every day. We want to thank our friends, families, early partners, mentors, customers, and investors who have supported us through this journey. Stay tuned as we get closer to our demo day at Techstars!

Every cohort of Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator reminds us why early-stage investing is so important (and fun!); it’s all about supporting founders who are tackling big, often messy, workforce problems. We are excited to invest in and support these eight great companies: AskSAMIE®️: Supports the work of Occupational Therapists and the needs of caregivers, enabling scalable at-home care for patients Essential Innovations: Helps small and medium employers in high-turnover frontline positions access the tens of billions of dollars in tax credits and other resources to help them find, hire, train, and retain employees from traditionally underrepresented talent pools. Gild: An AI-native workforce operating system built for the trades. Hive Ownership: Helps small businesses build a real ownership culture by aligning incentives and building trust. Hive turns employees into teams of owners. Obert: A workwear brand designed specifically for women in male-dominated industries. Peak Mojo: Building the operating system for the future caregiving workforce — where care is delivered by humans, AI, and robotics. Sumly: An AI-powered tax and finance platform that helps self-employed and small business owners track income and expenses year-round, uncover every deduction, and file with a Tax Pro; so they keep more of what they earn. Utiva: Connects untapped elite talent from multiple markets to global companies through one AI-powered platform for hiring, compliance, and payroll. We are thrilled to be building together!! ⭐️ Excited to announce we’re part of Techstars! We kicked off the first-ever global Techstars onboarding in NYC this week. While much of the AI startup conversation in SF is focused on building tools for agents, many founders here are applying AI to real-world industries — healthcare, supply chains, construction, and other critical parts of the economy. Our program, the Techstars Workforce Development Accelerator, focuses on one core idea: how technology can unlock human potential. A few days into the program, our team feels clearer than ever about our mission: applying advanced AI to one of the most overlooked infrastructure challenges of our time — caregiving. Across the cohort, we’ve met incredible founders who are deep experts in their industries. They may not always chase every new AI trend, but they bring something just as powerful: real-world data, domain knowledge, and deep relationships with the people they serve. That combination — cutting-edge AI with deep vertical expertise — may be where the next wave of impactful AI companies emerges. If the AI agent economy is to succeed, it should ultimately improve human lives. Otherwise, we may just be entering another phase of a tech bubble. We’re incredibly grateful to the Techstars team and all the amazing investors, LPs, mentors, and founders in the network. Excited for our journey forward ❤️ Dave Cass, Sasha Green, Tyler Lasicki, Brandy Archie OTD, OTR, CLIPP, Maggi Heneghan, Abigail Cheek, Chris Huber Reitz, Maximo Librandi, Beth Malcom, Eyitayo O, Willie Apala Flaherty, Ben Reno-Weber, Christine Curella P.S. We didn’t get into YC — but we do use many YC AI tools and love them. We are looking for solutions in AI ops agents, AI QA agents, and AI training infrastructure to scale our service. If you’re building something, please reach out — we could be your next customer.

We’re 1 year into building our stealth AI product! Two months ago, we made a BIG pivot into a niche healthcare use case, and we’re very happy with it. At first, we built for engineering teams. Later, we pivoted to sales teams. We loved working with engineering teams. But…many worried about AI taking their jobs. The vibe was uncertain and hesitant. We had many pilots, but enterprise deals closed slowly. (PS: we weren’t trying to replace engineers. They were just scared. We did NOT love working with salespeople. They weren’t very nice. It was very bro-ish, competitive, and performance-driven. We also found that the sales and sales enablement systems are really good. This means more competition in the space. Healthcare is the opposite. Healthcare workers are so nice and pleasant to work with. And there are broken systems everywhere, but it’s working because the healthcare workers are nice people who make it work. AI in healthcare is starting to emerge, but its penetration is slow. It’s a massive market with limited technology penetration. We’ve talked to healthcare workers at every level. They want AI technology and are willing to pay for it, but there isn’t much available to them. So far, no one else is doing what we’re doing. We have a head start in a healthcare niche that we wouldn’t have had in other industries. Most importantly, we can now make a social impact by building for healthcare. Healthcare is more collaborative than competitive. It fits our personality. We wake up daily and feel the impact we made through social entrepreneurship. Sure, we want to make money, but more importantly, we want to make a positive impact on society. Money is a byproduct of improving people’s lives. We love the people who work in healthcare. We’re building to lift up the healthcare system, starting with helping frontline workers. Grateful for every team member who stayed through the pivots, the doubts, and the long nights. Bary Huang, Peijun L., Xinxin Ma, Zicheng Gu We’re still in stealth, but I’ll start sharing more from our journey now that things are speeding up!

  • Kudos to our CTO Bary for demo and presenting our multi-agent assessment scoring system on #AAAI conference!

Last week I spoke and demoed at 40th AAAI in Singapore. The room converged on one reality: “works in a demo” is easy—“survives in a workflow” is the work. In our Peak Mojo demo, we used multi-agent systems as a review layer for human–AI workflows: long context, mixed inputs, tool use, iterative edits, decisions that compound. The value wasn’t the answer—it was the audit trail: what got checked, what got challenged, what couldn’t be concluded with confidence. My current mental model: Explainable → Operable → Ethical If you can’t review it, you can’t run it. If you can’t run it safely, “ethical” is just marketing. Thanks to Raphael Shu , OpenAgents and the AAAI Workshop team, and to Matthew Taylor, Virginia Dignum, and Frank Dignum for the conversations. If you’re working on adjacent problems and want to explore research collaboration, DM me. I’m especially interested in turning “works in a demo” into “survives in a workflow.” #AAAI #AgenticAI #MultiAgentSystems #AI #LLM #ResponsibleAI

  • Getting into the holiday season — but early-stage hustle doesn’t really slow down. Kudos to our COO, Peijun L. , for working with a sign waiting for people to talk to her in PA Bluebottle coffee. If you run into her, please send her some support and love — she’s probably the most extroverted researcher you’ll ever meet. If you see more young founders like this, give them a check… or at least a chat ☕️ Sometimes one conversation really does change a company’s trajectory. And for those who’ve been asking what we’re building: Peak Mojo is creating the AIQ standard — a scientific benchmark that measures how effectively people collaborate with AI. Companies use us to assess and improve workforce performance in the AI era. Stay tuned — our official launch is coming in early 2026.

  • At Peak Mojo, we believe the future of work will be earned trust, not assumed trust — and it will be co-created by all of us. Grateful to see this conversation come alive at our #SFTechWeek panel on AI, Talent, and the Workplace, where founders, researchers, and operators explored how AI can empower — not replace — people.

“The future of work will be earned trust, not assumed trust.” quote from our speaker Lily Jampol, Ph.D. Today. And it will be co-created by us. That was the spirit of our “Future of Work: AI, Talent, and Workplace” panel at #SFTechWeek — one of the most selective sessions this week, with 700+ registered and only ~40 hand-picked builders, researchers, and founders in the room. I had the privilege of moderating this powerful discussion, and here are the points that stayed with me: 1️⃣ AI as an empowerment lever, not an economic one. Transparency and trust determine adoption. 2️⃣ Human-in-the-loop is non-negotiable. People trust AI’s patterns, not its judgment. 3️⃣ Reward trust and quality, not just speed. The next generation of leaders will build “containers of trust.” 4️⃣ Governance and KPIs are missing links. We need metrics for successful human-AI collaboration. Huge thanks to our incredible speakers for bringing deep insight and honesty, Lily Jampol, Ph.D. , Claire (Wei) Zheng, Dawei Shi,MBA to our team Bary Huang Jing Jin Kalok Chu, MBA Peijun L. and to every attendee who showed up with curiosity, conviction, and an open mind.
