The April 2026 Visa Bulletin is out—and one change stands out for many families. 📌 ✅ **F-2A is now CURRENT for all countries.**   If you're the **spouse or minor child of a green card holder**, there's **no visa backlog** under F‑2A right now. Here's what else moved: - 🟢 **F-1** advanced by **up to ~6 months**   - 🟢 **F-2B** advanced **~3–5 months**   - 🟢 **F-3** advanced by **up to ~4 months**   - 🔵 **EB-3 India** saw **meaningful forward movement**   - ⚪ **EB-1, EB-2, EB-4, EB-5** were **mostly unchanged** **Filing note (important):** USCIS indicates that **both family- and employment-based applicants should use the "Dates for Filing" chart** this month. **Action steps:** 1) Find your **priority date** on your receipt notice (I‑130 / I‑140).   2) Compare it to the **"Dates for Filing"** chart (not "Final Action Dates") before preparing your I‑485 package.   3) If you're stuck in a slower category, consider whether an **employment-based self-petition path (NIW or EB‑1A)** could run in parallel while you wait—if eligible.
